We had a wonderful stay here! The staff was helpful with check in and check out. The location was safe and quiet, yet just a short walk to Yasaka Pagoda and the charming streets filled with shops and cafés. The train station is about a 13-minute walk, which can feel a bit long in the summer heat, but everything else about the location was excellent. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose to stay here again!

Very cute hotel with an awesome tatami area. It ended up being a little small for 4 adults, but that was somewhat expected. Location was great and the price was very reasonable. We would stay here again!

The inn was the perfect base to explore Kyoto, just steps from Gion and Higashiyama sights and walking distance to Pontocho Alley and Nishiki Market.
It was also convenient to have a washer-dryer combo in the room as well as a refrigerator in the kitchenette (although that is a glorified term since there were no plates, forks, or knives). The beds were very comfortable and it was nice to have a television and seating in the bedroom.

This single room came with a small kitchen and a washing machine, which was a pleasant surprise. Although the lobby was usually unattended, a staff member came out promptly to assist me whenever it was time to check in or check out. The location was very convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and local bus stops.

Loved the ability to wash & dry clothes. Quiet & clean. Checkin easy. Comfortable beds, refrigerator, additional sink and an actual closet. The only downside was trying to get the A/C to work properly. It worked at a certain temp but I couldn’t figure out how to adjust it.

The kitchen has a microwave and fridge. It is not equipped for cooking but good enough for preparing simple meals. The private laundry machine is very helpful. The property is nice and clean, but the room is small. It is more like an apartment building.

This place was incredible. Perfect location, the rooms were so so cute. Plenty of room for our family of six, and offered so many perks. Staff was hard to locate and did not seem to care to answer questions or help with things that tourists may have questions about. However, overall, it was a wonderful place to stay!

This was my favorite stay in Japan! Such a nice hotel room especially for the price. Being able to do laundry and having a tatami space made this hotel feel extremely luxurious
