I had a private room that was meant for a group of people. The space was very large. Great for solo traveler who doesn't want the real hostel experience. Although it was extremely cheaper for the hostel package. I will definitely come back here.

We got the bunk beds. The room is very small and cute with a bathroom and shower. My only wish is that there was a mirror in the room. Everything else was great

Room with bunk bed was small, good for those who are just backpacking or have little luggage. Sink was really small so water ends up getting on the floor alot, but they provide a towel to mop it. Shower smelt a bit like mildew but was otherwise fine. Staff were very friendly and nice.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you have absolutely no other option. The building is extremely old and has a strong, unpleasant smell that hits you as soon as you walk in. While I’ll give credit that the bedding was clean, that’s honestly the only positive thing I can say.

Stayed 6 nights. They didn’t clean room nor toilet. No fresh towel. We had to ask them to clean toilet and fresh towels. We had to change garbage can in room and clean up ourselves each day. Room has no window. We stayed in three person room as a couple. No way it would fit 3. Room is extremely basic. But location is excellent. Close to trains, bus and tons of affordable good food and Sento nearby. It is more like a hostel and should not be advertised as a hotel.

genuinely this place is awful do not stay here. stay at bali an thats nearby and cheaper. bali an is wayyy cleaner, has great amenities, space, and most of all feels safer. this place was like a dungeon. i chose this place due to its proximity to shinjuku station but its not worth it. heed my warning. stay at the bali an hotel thats nearby. its like $80/night there vs this place being $100/ a night there was a cockroach in our room, the door was not properly fitted in the doorframe and there was legit a hole someone could peek into thats right across the bathroom in the room. it was just such an awful stay, the AC stank like mold and was dripping stinky water, the walls felt sticky, truly DO NOT STAY HERE the towels provided were dirty asf, the bed sheets felt gross, like it was honestly just so bad.

Our room didn't look like the one in the photo. We had two beds along the wall, each of which had two roll out beds underneath. When they were pulled out, it was hard to access the bathroom without stepping on one of the beds. It was fine because we were only in the room for sleeping and were out sightseeing otherwise, but would not be the most comfortable place to hang out in. Check in was fast and easy. Fairly close to 2 train stations on different lines, so that was pretty convenient. Was an ok price for Tokyo.

I took a budget place because I wanted to spend most of the time out of the room. This place is very well located, in the center of Shinjuku. The rooms are little. The insulation is not what we are accustomed to in Europe or in the US. If there is noise outside, you will notice. Nonetheless, if you are aware of the condifions to begin with, you won't be disappointed. Personnally, it matches all the boxes I needed and I had a fun trip with my family.
