The Mabre Residence Hotel is a unique property. It is a former monastery that once belonged to the neighbouring Russian Orthodox Church. It is well located, being just steps from some of the old town Vilnius highlights, such as the Church of St. Anne and the Bernardine Church complex, and just a few minutes away from Pilies Street, the primary pedestrian street in the old town.
The rooms are a nice size and are comfortable.
The only drawback I can think of is that the building does not have an elevator, but staff will gladly help with bringing luggage to your room.

Very beautiful building in a wonderful location right next to the Orthodox Church of Theotokos and minutes from St Anne’s and the Cathedral. Quiet, relaxing and a lovely place for a short stay. Would recommend.

When I booked this hotel it said it had a pool and a sauna and that the sauna only would be against a fee. I do not use a sauna so it was good for me. But the hotel reception told me that there is also payment for the pool. I would have chosen another hotel had the terms been clear. The breakfast was good and the staff at the restaurant particularly attentive and friendly. The restaurant was clean and very well kept.

We enjoyed our stay at this conveniently-located hotel. The staff were friendly and the rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. Our older relatives had some trouble getting in and out of the bathtub - it was a very high step - so if mobility is an issue, request a walk-in shower room instead. Also, there's no elevator, although the staff were more than happy to carry bags up and down. Overall a good stay.

I liked this hotel. A great location and the best bed ever! I slept so well. Beware that u have to buy slipper for 5 euros if u don’t have your own in order to use the pool.

We stayed one night (Monday) with our 14 year old and 11 year old. Room had character with a nice attic room with beams, boys on sofa beds in the separate living space which worked well. Easy to walk from train station and then around old town and happily kept our luggage until check in time. We didn’t use much in way of facilities, just the room, which had everything we needed for one night stay.

Perfect location for a stay in Vilnius. Apart from seeing reception we didn't see any of the other facilities of the hotel as we were out all the time (perfect location after all). Would definitely stay again

On Hotels.com the hotel states it has a swimming pool and sauna,
However, both activities are priced as a supplement of €15.00 and a €5.00 for slippers.
The customer is not made aware of this until after payment is made.
The Breakfast Buffet is just about adequate, although the staff was slow on re -filling the hot options.
On the 2nd day the room cleaners did not arrive to clean the room until after 3pm, by which time we had been out for the day and had returned to the room, consequently the room was not cleaned or fresh towels given.
Overall I did not think that the Hotel should have 4 stars.
