Smoking is prohibited in the accommodation.

Pets are not allowed in the accommodation.

Hotel Policy:

i. A security deposit of MYR 50 for pods and MYR 100 for White Room and White Suite will be collected upon arrival for incidentals. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out and subject to damage inspection of the accommodation.

ii. The Penang State Government has implemented a mandatory Local Government Fee of MYR 2 per room per night. Payment of this fee is to be made upon check-out.

iii. Please note that early check-in request is subject to availability of rooms and if available, an additional 50% surcharge of the existing room rates will be incur.

iv. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

v. Please inform Container Hotel of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details provided in your confirmation.

vi. When booking more than 5 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply.

vii. In case of late check-out prior to 18:00 hours, an additional 50% charge of the room tariff per night will be charged.

viii. In case of late check-out after 1800 hours, an additional 100% charge of the room tariff per night will be charged.

ix. Effective from September 1st, 2017, as per Government of Malaysia requirements, hotel guests who are not Malaysian citizens or long-term/permanent residents of Malaysia will be levied a tourism tax of RM 10.00 per room per night stay. Please note these changes in tax structure will result in revised taxes being charged and will be payable additionally during check out.
