Le Meridien Ile Maurice

Staff was extremely polite, friendly, helpful and catered to our every need. The room and the entire property was immaculately maintained. Our honeymoon was made extra magical by the personal touches provided by the team. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Mauritius.

Amazing staff and hotel

Staying at Le Meridien Ile Maurice was disgusting. - The room was filthy with mold everywhere (I took photo proof). - Sent the wrong room service order to our room. - Despite asking us if we were travelling for a special occasion (we included "yes its our honeymoon" there was no note, no congratulations from staff or anything to align with why the question was even asked. - Water and mini bar was never topped up unless we asked. - Towels were frayed and in average condition. - Almost denied entry to one of the hotels restaurants as we were told my husbands smart sandals were not allowed despite a muslin man in sight wearing casual slides at his table. Cultural discrimination! - Both ended up with food poisoning 2 days into our 5 night stay there. When all these things were raised with the service desk, we were astounded with a very cold, apathetic response and almost gaslit that we were the only guests sick as if to out right deny the hotel made us sick despite the fact e had not left the hotel or eaten anywhere else! Disgusting for a 5 star resort we will never stay with this hotel chain again!

Beautiful junior suite, stunning view out to the ocean. Clean and well kept surroundings. Friendly staff.

The staff was very visible and always checking on the welfare of the guests.

The hotel was situated right at the beach and our room was on the ground floor with direct pool/ beach access. Room service was amazing , the breakfast buffet was great, the amenities like pool, spa, jacuzzi and gym were all great, very clean and staff friendly. I will come back again.

Dear Le Meridien Ile Maurice team, We recently returned home after a 10-day all-inclusive honeymoon at your beautiful resort, and we just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you. This was our first time in Mauritius, and staying with you made it truly memorable—we’re already thinking about our next trip! We stayed at Nirvana and loved the peaceful adults-only pool, daily sunset cocktails, and having Dylan, our amazing butler, who went above and beyond for us. Highlights of our stay included: -Stunning beaches and well-kept pools with ocean views -Daily activities like archery, aqua fun, yoga, and watersports -Delicious seafood and varied cuisines at the restaurants -The relaxing presence of birds, friendly cats and dogs around the resort Most of all, we were blown away by the warmth and care of the staff. Special thanks to: -Darvin, Klea & Latitude20 Bar team for great cocktails and cappuccinos -Ritesh & Deesart for cheerful breakfast service -Nitesh & Nirvana Bar team for wonderful evenings -Chris, Fabian & Jouana for fun and energetic classes and infectious enthusiasm- so friendly and approachable! -Ourila, Vikash and especially Sheila "Aunty" from housekeeping for your care and smiles, and making our room a home from home -And again, Dylan, for being exceptional The resort is slightly away from main attractions, but excursions are easily arranged. Beautiful, safe, private beach.

When booking your room don’t book a room with just breakfast. We did & when we went to upgrade to half board we got no discount for already having breakfast included in our room.

From being welcomed at the hotel to the final check out the staff were so friendly and went that little bit extra to make sure our stay was an amazing one. The choice of food and drinks were great and we were able to book the speciality restaurants with ease. Pools were great along with the choice of water sports that were included. We would like to say a big thank you to Angele who did a great job in looking after us in the Nirvana part of the hotel and Sheila who kept our room spotlessly clean. Also Klea who made sure we always had a drink in Latitude and Owen who worked at the bar there and also in Jade with his drink recommendations. Bayo also made sure we had food and drinks around the main pool. So a big thank you to these and all others that made our stay as special as it was. Hoping to return in the future.

Great restaurants, rooms are large, bed is excellent, beach is not amazing but hotel location is very convenient to travel to other beaches.

Fantastic location on a beautiful peaceful beach with fabulous sunsets. All the staff without exception are so friendly and welcoming with nothing ever too much trouble. Great selection of restaurants and activities available

Property in perfect conditions, excellent facilities and super friendly and efficient staff. I was there during a typhoon level 3 alert. The airport was closed and a lot of clients got struck. The front desk, concierge and guest relations were simply amazing! The management did huge efforts to minimize clients’ discomfort. Amazing!

Brilliant place to stay for a relaxing beech holiday

Positives : Good size room with lovely view, quiet, pretty garden, well maintained, good food, especially the Wave restaurant. Not quite a 5 star hotel, but ok. The staff helppat the front desk far from 5 star standard, more reminiscent of a second rate guest house We’ve booked a boat trip on the other side of the island through the concierge(Jimmy) thinking that even though taxi was far more expensive, at least it would be turn up on time. Wrong! Taxi was 30 minutes late, it took a lot of discussions, a phone call to find the taxi. Later the driver told us that he waited outside! Surely it should have occurred to him to come to reception to find us! The taxi was not the very clean and driver was very bad : he was very slow, constantly drifted over the middle line, occasionally having to swerve to miss oncoming vehicles, even managed to get lost . The boat trip was not exactly what we were told either, I would not recommend it. We also made the mistake of agreeing to hire a car through the concierge (same one, Jimmy). It was a bit pricey, but we were told that we’ll have a brand new car and no card transaction fees. On the morning of our departure we were brought a 2019 plate Kia picanto, dirty and covered in scratches. As we were leaving the hotel we eventually no choice but to accept the car. Someone was supposed to meat us at the airport to collect the car 5 days later, and, of course, they didn’t! When we called them from airport they argued that we were a day early!
