from South Korea who stayed here for our honeymoon from November 13th to 16th. The overall satisfaction with the food, environment, location, facilities, and scenery were fantastic. However, I would like to tell you about an unpleasant experience. I am very dissatisfied with the service attitude of the staff. We clearly requested the honeymoon service by email before our arrival, but it was not provided. We requested it again to the Chinese staff member at the reception desk, and they said they would process it soon and just made us wait. We waited for 2 hours without even unpacking our luggage, and eventually we visited the reception twice more, but it was not processed. After waiting for another 30 minutes, we made a request to the head manager and our request was processed right away. The Chinese staff member just made us wait and did nothing, neglecting us and wasting our precious time. I hope that he will be punished accordingly.

Staff was extremely polite, friendly, helpful and catered to our every need. The room and the entire property was immaculately maintained. Our honeymoon was made extra magical by the personal touches provided by the team. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Mauritius.

Amazing staff and hotel

Staying at Le Meridien Ile Maurice was disgusting. - The room was filthy with mold everywhere (I took photo proof). - Sent the wrong room service order to our room. - Despite asking us if we were travelling for a special occasion (we included "yes its our honeymoon" there was no note, no congratulations from staff or anything to align with why the question was even asked. - Water and mini bar was never topped up unless we asked. - Towels were frayed and in average condition. - Almost denied entry to one of the hotels restaurants as we were told my husbands smart sandals were not allowed despite a muslin man in sight wearing casual slides at his table. Cultural discrimination! - Both ended up with food poisoning 2 days into our 5 night stay there. When all these things were raised with the service desk, we were astounded with a very cold, apathetic response and almost gaslit that we were the only guests sick as if to out right deny the hotel made us sick despite the fact e had not left the hotel or eaten anywhere else! Disgusting for a 5 star resort we will never stay with this hotel chain again!

Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, sauber aber auch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und aufmerksam jedoch schrecklich unorganisiert (vor allem beim Frühstück im Restaurant wo Hundertschaften in diversen Hierarchien emsig aber ineffektiv umherrannten. (Beispiel: Orangensaft Bestellung da kein Self Service gerade verfügbar beschäftigte 5 Personen). Insgesamt aber alles ok, doch bei einem 5* Hotel erwartet man schon etwas mehr Professionalität.

Prestations générales excellentes. Mention spéciale au soin apporté à l'entretien de la chambre.

Beautiful junior suite, stunning view out to the ocean. Clean and well kept surroundings. Friendly staff.

Das Hotel ist im grossen und ganzen Gut, sauber, sehr freundliches Personal und atemberaubende Strandanlage. Die Qualität des Essens ist für unsere Europäischen verhältnisse etwas weniger gut, dies ist aber Ansichtssache. Im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels auf Mauritius mit der gleichen Sternebewertung und Preisklasse hinkt es jedoch im Kulinarischen hinterher.

Wunderbares Hotel in toller Lage mit freundlichem und zuvorkommendem Personal. Auch für Aufenthalt mit Kindern bestens geeignet. Viele tolle Angebote für Aktivitäten im Wasser und an Land. Sehr gutes Speisenangebot.

The hotel was situated right at the beach and our room was on the ground floor with direct pool/ beach access. Room service was amazing , the breakfast buffet was great, the amenities like pool, spa, jacuzzi and gym were all great, very clean and staff friendly. I will come back again.

Best food ever!

Newly renovated so nice rooms. Unfortunately the service was very bad and weird setup. Was not allowed to put drinks on my room and asked to go to reception to pay for my drinks. The bar staff were embarrassed about the whole situation and apologized (they were good). To top the bad experience i started getting calls to my room i had to settle my bill from earlier at lunch. I had not even checked in by then since i arrived by 5pm. This did not occur to them at first and it took some time and explanations. This was my second time visit this year and i must say i will not be heading back. The service is simply awful and among the worst i have encountered in Mauritius which i visit many times a year. Will choose another hotel next time.

When booking your room don’t book a room with just breakfast. We did & when we went to upgrade to half board we got no discount for already having breakfast included in our room.
