Le Méridien Ile Maurice

from South Korea who stayed here for our honeymoon from November 13th to 16th. The overall satisfaction with the food, environment, location, facilities, and scenery were fantastic. However, I would like to tell you about an unpleasant experience. I am very dissatisfied with the service attitude of the staff. We clearly requested the honeymoon service by email before our arrival, but it was not provided. We requested it again to the Chinese staff member at the reception desk, and they said they would process it soon and just made us wait. We waited for 2 hours without even unpacking our luggage, and eventually we visited the reception twice more, but it was not processed. After waiting for another 30 minutes, we made a request to the head manager and our request was processed right away. The Chinese staff member just made us wait and did nothing, neglecting us and wasting our precious time. I hope that he will be punished accordingly.

Hotel de bon standing. Bien entretenu. Personnel serviable. Chambre spacieuse et agréable. Eau, café, thé à disposition chaque jour. Bon buffet de petit déjeuner. Belle plage avec transat, parasols. Sport nautiques. Canoë, sortie avec bateau à fond de verre, gratuit.

Séjour exceptionnel au Méridien Île Maurice. L’hôtel est magnifique, parfaitement situé au bord d’une superbe plage avec des couchers de soleil incroyables. Le personnel est attentionné, professionnel et toujours souriant. L’ambiance est idéale pour un séjour romantique. Le cadre au bord de l’eau est absolument magique, surtout au coucher du soleil. Un endroit parfait pour une demande en mariage. Les restaurants sont excellents, les chambres confortables et les espaces communs très bien entretenus. Nous repartons avec des souvenirs inoubliables et l’envie de revenir très vite.

Our room was clean and very well equipped- our thanks to Geetanjalee. All the staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived and this continued throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent with so many options available for all dietary requirements. The setting is superb with spectacular views over various pools towards the ocean - and the sunsets were amazing.

The cleaning staff were amazing and friendly and the room was well maintained. There were not enough loungers at the pool, which meant you had to get to the pool by 9:00am to get a place. Bar service was slow at all the bars. The resort is very busy and great if you like the constant traffic and noise. The service is much better and faster if you have an all inclusive package but is very costly compared to other resorts. It doesn’t have the best beach and is difficult to snorkel. I would recommend you research resorts in depth before booking. This resort was just not a good fit for the purpose of our travel but it’s beautiful. We were asked if we were there for a special occasion ahead of time, and we told them we were there for our honeymoon, but we’re not sure why we were asked as nothing was done different from other guests.

Zimmer waren groß und praktisch eingerichtet. Auf der Terrasse war ein bequemes Sofa und eine traumhaft schöne Aussicht aufs Meer.

The hotel is one of the best I have visited in the world. The service, the staff at all levels were exceptional. The food in the dining room was excellent. Each of the hotel staff went out of their way to do us good. Really great. Highly recommend.

Jag hade en underbar upplevelse på denna resort. Servicen var utmärkt, läget är vackert och allt var mycket rent och välorganiserat. Maten var utsökt och vällagad. Rekommenderas starkt!

Het verblijf was echt perfect. Van het uiterst vriendelijke en behulpzame personeel tot de heerlijke restaurants en het zeer goed onderhouden hotelcomplex.  De Nirvana-zone is zeker een aanrader!

Rekommenderar starkt att besöka! Super trevlig personal och service nivå på topp! Dem gjorde allt för att man ska känna sig välkommen. Maten var mycket bra på 3 av 4 restauranger som dem har.

Enastående service. Men kanske lite för strikt för ett semesterställe. Speciellt i gymmet. Marklyft görs alltid utan skor. Men det var tydligen inte tillåtet att vara utan skor. Där stod alltid en personal och glodde på en när man träna. Inte riktigt min kopp te. Men super bra och lyxigt boende!
