from South Korea who stayed here for our honeymoon from November 13th to 16th. The overall satisfaction with the food, environment, location, facilities, and scenery were fantastic. However, I would like to tell you about an unpleasant experience. I am very dissatisfied with the service attitude of the staff. We clearly requested the honeymoon service by email before our arrival, but it was not provided. We requested it again to the Chinese staff member at the reception desk, and they said they would process it soon and just made us wait. We waited for 2 hours without even unpacking our luggage, and eventually we visited the reception twice more, but it was not processed. After waiting for another 30 minutes, we made a request to the head manager and our request was processed right away. The Chinese staff member just made us wait and did nothing, neglecting us and wasting our precious time. I hope that he will be punished accordingly.

Wir waren in zwei weiteren 5 Sterne Hotels neben diesem Hotel auf Mauritius. Dieses Hotel war unter den Hotels das schlechteste und das teuerste. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen. 1. Meer Das Meer ist sehr steinig und felsig. Zum schwimmen wurde ein sehr kleines Areal zur Verfügung gestellt. Nichtmal in diesem Areal wurden die Felsen, Algen usw. gesäubert. Zum Baden wurden Plastikbadeschuhe ausgeliehen, die keine 2 € kosten. Von einem 5 Sterne Hotel würde ich erwarten, allein aus Hygiene Gründen, so billige Plastikbadeschuhe die zum Baden erforderlich sind, auch dem jeweiligen Gast zu schenken. Wir haben uns unsere eigenen Badeschuhe für insgesamt 3€ gekauft. 2. Wassersport Das geworbene Wassersport hat leider immer aus irgendwelchen Gründen nicht stattgefunden. Die Gäste vom Hotel nebenan, konnten Wassersport machen. Mehr Schein als Sein. 3. Kein Meerblick Wir haben ein Hotel mit Meerblick gebucht. Allerdings war unser Zimmer ganz am Ende der Anlage gegenüber vom Kinderspielareal. Das grenzt an Betrug, ein Zimmer mit Meerblick zu werben, wo man das Meer etwas mit Mühe seitlich sehen kann. 4. Kein Regenschirm Es hat beim Auschecken geregnet. Es ist bekannt, dass immer wieder Regenschauer entstehen. Auf meine Frage, ob man den Regenschirm vom Hotelzimmer ausleihen kann, wurde dies verneint, da der Regenschirm die Anlage nicht verlassen dürfe. Als ich das dem Guest Relation Desk gesagt habe, wo ich ein Regenschirm finden kann, wurde mir erst ein Regenschirm gegeben.

1. Excellent location of resort. Staff was very courteous..facilities are good.. Room was beach facing 2. Check in experience was bad inspite of informing upfront had to wait for over 90 minutes post international travel.. it was a downer .. 3. We had dinner in their Indian and Thai restaurants ..taste was excellent and service was very good.. 4. other locations in Mauritius are within 1- 1.5 hours drive 5. Breakfast and Dinner buffet for vegetarian food is decent.

Chambre spacieuse activités nautiques proposées (snorkelling kayak paddle ...) Nous avons passé un bon sejour.

Hotel de bon standing. Bien entretenu. Personnel serviable. Chambre spacieuse et agréable. Eau, café, thé à disposition chaque jour. Bon buffet de petit déjeuner. Belle plage avec transat, parasols. Sport nautiques. Canoë, sortie avec bateau à fond de verre, gratuit.

Séjour exceptionnel au Méridien Île Maurice. L’hôtel est magnifique, parfaitement situé au bord d’une superbe plage avec des couchers de soleil incroyables. Le personnel est attentionné, professionnel et toujours souriant. L’ambiance est idéale pour un séjour romantique. Le cadre au bord de l’eau est absolument magique, surtout au coucher du soleil. Un endroit parfait pour une demande en mariage. Les restaurants sont excellents, les chambres confortables et les espaces communs très bien entretenus. Nous repartons avec des souvenirs inoubliables et l’envie de revenir très vite.

Our room was clean and very well equipped- our thanks to Geetanjalee. All the staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived and this continued throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent with so many options available for all dietary requirements. The setting is superb with spectacular views over various pools towards the ocean - and the sunsets were amazing.

The cleaning staff were amazing and friendly and the room was well maintained. There were not enough loungers at the pool, which meant you had to get to the pool by 9:00am to get a place. Bar service was slow at all the bars. The resort is very busy and great if you like the constant traffic and noise. The service is much better and faster if you have an all inclusive package but is very costly compared to other resorts. It doesn’t have the best beach and is difficult to snorkel. I would recommend you research resorts in depth before booking. This resort was just not a good fit for the purpose of our travel but it’s beautiful. We were asked if we were there for a special occasion ahead of time, and we told them we were there for our honeymoon, but we’re not sure why we were asked as nothing was done different from other guests.

Zimmer waren groß und praktisch eingerichtet. Auf der Terrasse war ein bequemes Sofa und eine traumhaft schöne Aussicht aufs Meer.

The hotel is one of the best I have visited in the world. The service, the staff at all levels were exceptional. The food in the dining room was excellent. Each of the hotel staff went out of their way to do us good. Really great. Highly recommend.
