Hotel Playa Mazatlan

Hello, just wanted to share with you all that my experience with the entire team at Hotel Playa Mazatlán was incredible! From the start when we got to the gates the guards were so nice but very meticulous with security ( that was a huge piece of mind) then the lobby staff are amazing and it was cool sooo a huge plus too! Than the bell boy and the rooms,the room cleaning staff as well as the pool and restaurant's staff were amazing and the FOOD, the FOOD IS DELICIOUS!! Literally music, games or shows every single night! I recommend 100% without a doubt! I will come back next year with more family. Kathia Lopez

The view from the balcony was amazing all day long. The room was good for the price, I would upgrade the next time. There are absolutely no words for the staff. I cannot stop bragging about them. Luis, Markus and so many more were AMAZING!!!!! Great job staff! I have been to other areas of Mexico and never felt unsafe but lots of warnings. Here we walked all over and never felt more safe. We went all over with little to no escorts. The street are so clean compared to other areas of Mexico. The options of things to do are unlimited and ran out of time. The beach is beautiful and the water is perfect for swimming. We watch dolphins play while eating breakfast. I would consider a Tour to Rancho Mr. Lionso a must. A Tequila ranch with so much to offer, ATVs, horse back riding and so on. Amazing people and cannot wait to go back. The only draw back is snorkeling and scuba diving a limited, but there is so much more here to make up for it. We will most definitely go back.

Bars all closed st 6 didn't open until 11 So no mimosa's or bloody marries for breakfast.

This place was amazing!! Their beachfront cabanas are beautiful. Staff was amazing and the resort has so many different fun things to do, amenities and it is well maintained! Will definitely be back here someday!

Check-in was a breeze (but we checked in on a Tuesday- we saw the weekend looked super busy). Very friendly staff. The room was wonderful with an ocean view. Comfortable beds. The hotel is all inclusive, so it is super difficult to get drinks or food if you don’t buy the inclusive bracelet. The buffets and other food options are kinda average but the waiters and bartenders are great. The area is very convenient to shops and bars but just KNOW the area is VERY busy on the beach and has super loud music, it’s kinda overwhelming!

Staff was great i wish i wound check the reviews on yelp before i made my reservation. Food was not so good. The all inclusive on my personal view is not worth it. The beer offered all around the hotel is one of the cheapest Waterdown beer. Buffer food not worth it. Room has small brick mattress with tortilla thin pillows no small fridge had to purchases small cooler to keep some drinks cold. Restroom small and shower door damaged it didn’t closed. Construction on site that at 7am I was wide awake with all the hammering and loud noises. I won’t come to this hotel next time. Now that I’m around just seen better hotels around also beach front and much better rooms and better prices

Clean room but felt amenities lacking this year. Menus only scannable which doesn't work for those without a smart phone or no service in Mexico. The upkeep of the property is sliding (long grass, paint peeling surfaces)

Great location and nice pools but the rooms leave a lot to be desired (outdated). Had booked for 6 nights but only lasted 3 nights because of the room. If you don't care about the room much then is a great value. I moved to The Courtyard by Marriott and was happy with the room.

Vission on the balcony in the morning the best 1 night only some inprovment. Coffee needs creamer bigger cups l and lids showers suck nowhere to have shampo but on thr floor accomedatons beed higher end inprovment

The hotel rooms, pools and beach were all good. The noise from the bands playing on the beach from midday to late evening was awful.

Great location near the Malecón and on the beach. Fantastic staff, very clean, great pool area with many options. We did all inclusive which was nice, however only one main restaurant is open each night, as well as the buffet. No option to choose to eat at whichever restaurant you want, and you must make reservations by 11am. We were under the impression that there were many restaurants to choose from during our stay. This was not the case.
