Hotel Rockaway

Overall stay was amazing, BUT the water in our room didn’t get hot it stayed at lukewarm. The weather was already super hot and high humidity so if cold water doesn’t bother then good okay! A/C was amazing for this stay :)!

AC was great. The pool area was comfortable and well maintained. The breakfast was good but limited to 3 options which got tiresome after a few days. The view from the restaurant is fantastic!

For the price, this hotel was a great value. It's a well maintained hotel, with great AC and comfortable beds. it was clean and had a very friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again.

Forget sleeping if you get a sea view room. There are nightclubs up and down the strip and one open air club across the street that BLASTED music right to 3:30 am!!! It was a nightmare. As well, we had some drunken neighbor in the room beside us who passed out on the patio with his own speaker playing. In the pool were a bunch of men who had been there for what looked like hours drinking beer and smoking cigarettes. As the pool is quite small we decided not to go in as it was extremely uncomfortable. Unfortunately we had to leave a night early even though we paid for the room because we just couldn't take anymore. Neither one of us had more than about 4 hours sleep each night it was really terrible because the room was actually quite lovely and the staff are really nice but they should never put people our age in a room that face the street with the nightclubs like that. What a shame.

We loved the view but wished we would have known there was a nightclub across the street that played loud music all night until 3am .Breakfast was great loved the patio deck and servers were excellent

It was amazing! Super clean, the staff was great. It was my family's first time experience and they completely loved it. Would definitely stay again!

The entire hotel was spotless, the staff were wonderful, and the included breakfast was very good. The only problem we had was that music from nearby places blared until early morning on two of the nights we were there. The AC and fan masked most, but not all of the noise.

Staff was nice. From front desk to kitchen. Rooms were cleaned everyday. Soaps smelled good. They upgraded my room for no additional cost. A brother in law stayed with me and my wife, on the sofa. Even though it was booked for 2 people they gave me a great deal for letting him stay there for 3 nights

The staff was very nice but the hotel is in a bad situation if you’re trying to get sleep. Our room faced the Main Street and there was unbelievably loud electronic music blasting until 4am. They were nice enough to move us to another room that was interior facing and promised it would be quiet but the same thing happened. I spent my nights awake and half of my days trying to sleep. I ended getting a hotel somewhere else for the next night because I couldn’t handle it. Partial refund was denied.

The room was very spacious, clean and had two comfortable king size beds, a sofa, table and chairs. The bath towels and linens were clean, of good quality and new looking. We usually travel as a family of four and this was the first time that four towels were waiting for us in the bath-room instead of two or three without having to ask for more. No face-cloths are supplied as is the case in North America. The kitchenette was well equipped with everything required to prepare meals. The pots and pans and other kitchen equipment were clean and wrapped in plastic. The refrigerator was an apartment sized one and not merely a bar-fridge. Three bottles of water were provided and placed in the refrigerator every day. The cable network was down over the whole city while we were there so we only had two digital channels to choose from instead of around thirty. Music and singing went on at the hotel our first night there (Friday) but was over by around 10:30 PM. To our surprise there was none of that on Saturday night. Instead there was an on again, off again loud machine-like humming sound going on all night from somewhere outside of the hotel. It sounded similar to that of a strong wind. The included breakfasts were satisfying as were the reasonably priced dinner. Our room had four windows with light filtering roller shades but no curtains. Anyone walking by when the lights were on could see into the room. We mentioned it at check-out only.
