A Cinematic Masterpiece of a Stay: Le Temple des Arts If you are looking for a stay that feels less like a hotel and more like stepping onto a Hollywood movie set, Le Temple des Arts is a dream come true. From the moment you pass through the carved wooden doors, you are transported into a world of pure imagination and Moroccan grandeur. The Unique Ambience: This isn't just a boutique hotel; it’s a tribute to the silver screen. Each room is a beautifully themed "set"—we stayed in the Kundun suite, and the attention to detail was breathtaking. It felt authentic, luxurious, and wonderfully kitsch all at once. The Service: The staff, especially Omar, deserve a standing ovation. They treat every guest like a VIP. Whether it was the attentive service at breakfast or the helpful tips for navigating the city, the hospitality was warm, genuine, and professional. The Food: Breakfast by the pool was a highlight of our mornings. Fresh, traditional Moroccan pastries and perfectly made omelets served in a serene garden setting. We also dined at their restaurant, Out of Africa, which offered a delicious fusion of flavors that rivaled any high-end spot in town. Verdict: Le Temple des Arts is for the traveler who wants something different. It’s quiet, intimate, and bursting with

I stayed here 5 days and was smitten from the first moment. The decor may not be everyone's taste and may seem a little OTT but the rooms are of generous size, very comfortably furnished and the location is very quiet. The staff are discrete and very obliging, they serve excellent food more or less to your wishes. It is near the airport, in fact 15 minutes walking distance and on the edge of town. But it is only about 20 minutes to the main part of the centre. The small garden and swimming pool make for relaxing space. This is a unique hotel of quality and worth the extra for escaping the bustle of large hotels.

Property is incredibly beautiful, but pricey. But I guess one goes with the other? It's big, beautifully decoorated, well laid out. The grounds are beautiful too. Small staff that does their absolute best to please. Only gripes are we did a small load of laundry that cost $80.00 US dollars...Ouch, and the Kundun suite only had one bathroom for the 3 of us. Other Riads we'd been to of the size we wanted have had two. That would have made it even more superior. Other than that, great property to give you a break coming out of the desert before continuing to Marrakech.

The hotel is nice and the staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcomed, but the owner/manager has no clue how Expedia works. I booked and paid for our stay weeks before our arrival but when checking out they insisted that we had to pay for the room again. They tried to explain that I pay them and then they pay Expedia. I even showed them the receipt of payment from Expedia and they still would not believe me. We had to pay again and once we get back to the states take it up with Expedia. Very frustrating experience.

When we turned on the aircon, a strong smell of sewage filled the room. We spoke to the receptionist who checked the room, admitted that there was indeed a smell, and tried to mask it with a deo spray. But the sewage odor was too strong, and the spray didn't have any effect. The receptionist told us that no other rooms were available. Then he called the manager. The manager started with explaining that the smell was from outside and he couldn't do anything about it, it was in all the rooms. He suggested we either turn off the AC or burn a candle. I'm allergic so the candle option was a no-go. And it was too hot without AC. So we asked if we could just leave and find another place. He shouted at me in the lobby, threatened to call the cops, and refused to let us leave. To top all that, the AC was just barely working. And when we asked to be compensated the manager completely changed his tune, denying that there was any smell at all. He really insulted us, again speaking in a derisive tone, claiming that we were fabricating the issue because we couldn't afford the room and needed a discount. This was in spite of his receptionist having admitted to the smell. The next morning the manager apologized, and told us that he had spoken to the owner to get the smell issue fixed. But the damage was done, and we had to endure insults and spend a sleepless night in a hot, stinky room. He didn’t offer any compensation, except for a handful of fruits and cookies.
