Appartementen Valkenburg

This was a dump. There were holes in doors and the carpet was gross. The furniture was salvaged. The towels should have been used for cleaning. I put a chair in front the door and left a light on because there’s no additional lock. I would never recommend this space to someone.

Perfect hotel for the pandemic (no restaurants) so an apartment-style hotel with our own kitchen was the perfect place to stay. The apartment itself was very large, nicely furnished and warm during the winter cold snap we experienced.

Check in was at the hotel down the street, the main entrance was more a hidden back door which we could reach by walking through a wall of smoke with our daughter.. The apartment wasn’t the one we booked, so we didn’t have two bedrooms. Also it wasn’t cleaned, so we arrived to dirty dishes, towels and beds that were used. After calling reception they send someone over to clean. When we arrived back, it was sort of clean. Unfortunately there was still a coffeepad in the machine, she shower isn’t very clean, there is one soap dispenser which is not clean at all. We found out a second bed, that we could fold out in the living room, but because of the way the apartment looked, we didn’t even want to try it. The entrance of the apartments looks very nice, unfortunately that’s it, this place needs serious renovation and a new cleaning staff.

Spacious apartment in ideal location, clean with almost everything you would need apart fron atoaster and iron, though this was not an issue. Carpet in bedroom had seen better days and the large terrace would have been nice to sit out in if it wasnt for all the weeds which were also at the entrance. Check in was a nightmare, we were given akey for 34 but not told we had to enter at 36! Up once again to the hotel only to find out you needed a key card to gain entry. Got there eventually but found the process very frustrating after travelling all day.

We enjoyed our stay in Valkenburg and the apartment was very comfortable for our stay. Good amount of space to spread out...except for the bathroom! It was clean but very small, especially the shower! It wasn’t a problem for my son or I but my husband had a tough time. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Somewhat old and worn down. Great location and relative to options not a terrible choice. Be aware that tjus would be a 2 Star in USA. Lower expectations and reasonable for sleep only. No TV in bedroom, coffee maker did not work. Old in need of rennovations

Apartment clean warm and comfortable could have done with a toaster. Check in was in another hotel few minutes walk away. When we got to other hotel we were buzzed in but not told reception was on third floor all signs were in Dutch or German so we wandered about looking for it then eventually buzzed again and were directed. Apartment is very close to all shops and restaurants. All in an excellent stay

Hotel is located right next to the chair lift cable car in the centre of town. Parking outside on street via permit provided by hotel at 6 euro per day. It appears that all parking in Valkenburg is chargeable, without permit it was 1.7 Euro per hour. Apartment very large, clean and warm.Ideal for family as within walking distance of all restaurants, shops, attractions etc.

Absolutely perfect little place. Would recommend it, and would stay again.

De staat van onderhoud was echt zeer slecht en zelfs gevaarlijk. In de muur was een gleuf gebikt in de muur waar je de blauwe en bruine elektriciteitsdraad naar het stopcontact zag lopen. Bij de lamp boven het aanrecht waren de draden met een kroonsteentje met elkaar verbonden. En dit naast de waterkoker en senseo-apparaat. Een goede elektricien zou dit direct afkeuren als onveilig! De keukenkastjes waren zeer oud en frontje bladderd af. Het oude tapijt zat vol vlekken. Onder de kookplaat staat los een inbouwkoelkast geplaatst. De kookplaat hebben wij niet gebruikt, omdat er geen fatsoenlijke pannen aanwezig waren. De borden stonden plakkerig in de kast. Voor gebruik van servies en bestek hebben wij eerst alles afgewassen. De lak van de tafel zat vol scheuren en bladdert af. Zeer onhygiënisch. Het leer van de stoel was gescheurd van ouderdom. Meubels van een kringloopwinkel zien er vele malen beter uit. De zeepdispenser in de badkamer hing aan 1 schroef. Slot in de achterdeur is uit de jaren 50 die bij elke sleutelmaker op nummer te verkrijgen is. Positief is de ligging, vlak bij het centrum. In deze staat kan ik het niet aanbevelen. We hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van de Wellness in het nabij gelegen hotel, dus dit kunnen we niet beoordelen. Wastafel en wc waren schoon.

Wij hadden een grote kamer met balkon, keukentje, magnetron en waterkoker. Alles is wat ouder en loopt schuin af, maar qua ruimte en plek (meteen naast de kabelbaan) perfect voor ons!

Een zeer achterstallig appartement, vloerbedekking te vies om over te lopen en de slaap kussens onder de schimmel. De woonkamer bank probeer die te vermijden samen met de gordijnen. Neem een zaklamp mee aangezien 80% van de lampen defect zijn. Wel een zeer vriendelijk ontvangst gehad en als gast mag je gebruik maken van de wellness van het hotel echter is deze als hierboven beschreven in dezelfde staat. Oud en vervallen. Echt zonde van beide complexen dat er 0 aan onderhoud wordt gedaan. De prijs lijkt redelijk maar in verhouding nog te hoog.

Van buiten zeer mooi gebouw, echter van binnen is het wat gedateerd. Redelijk ruim appartement met keuken en 2 balkons. De bedden en douche zijn goed schoon en gewoon goed. Tapijt oogt wat vies in de woonkamer. Verwacht geen gezelligheid en sfeer, maar eerder praktisch en ruim verblijf voor 2. Thee en koffie (Senseo apparaat) ruim aanwezig. Bestek, kookplaat, magnetron en koelkast aanwezig en zo ook schoonmaakmiddelen. Let wel dat men bij inchecken naar het Parkhotel moet boven op de heuvel en dat is paar honderd meter verderop. Openbaar parkeren kan gratis direct voor de deur tussen 22:00 en 10:00. Wellness is gratis bij Parkhotel. Receptie is zeer aardig en behulpzaam!
