Lovely staff. Great location.

This Hotel is located on a street that follows one of the main canals in Amsterdam and we could view the activities on the canal from our room. It is walkable to the Van Gogh and the Rijksmuseum as well as to interesting restaurants , public transportation, and a major public garden. You can arrange canal tours nearby. The staff was very helpful, answering all our questions about the area and making sure that my husband, who has some walking restraints, was comfortable. There is an excellent buffet breakfast with fresh fruits, cheeses, crafted pastries, and many choices of eggs, cereal, meats in a cosy cafe atmosphere. The cafe and the garden are also great to enjoy for wine or coffee in the evenings. Our room was a bit small compared to American facilities, but was well-decorated and had all amenities.

Would stay again!

It's a lovely hotel, very close to shops, restaurants and museums. Our room was nice but the bathroom was very very small. The staff at the front desk are very friendly considering how busy it was on Kibg's day (except for one young lady who was a bit short when we asked for directions to our room). Overall, a very nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay there.

I felt this was an ideal location. The staff was always helpful.

Lovely friendly staff and very clean

I did not like that. They put the mobility impaired people underground.

It isn't a 4 stars hotel as promised. The double room "Deluxe" they gave me was so small that we couldn't the bathroom more than halfway because it hit the bed. So you must be skinny or pass sideways to enter the bathroom. We agreed that bed and bedsheets and towel changing were on request but they didn't even clean the room!!. We also had to request that !!!. Of course, there were no courtesy products but a box of Kleenex.

We had a “cozy” queen which was nicely appointed while also being the smallest room we’ve ever stayed in, including NYC. The real issue for us was being on -0 which often included an open loading dock and laundry room that often remained open. An open mop bucket had what seemed like permanent residence in the hall as well. Easily solved problems that would improve their rating.

Very good for what I needed, would recommend

You couldn’t be closer to the Rijksmuseum than at this hotel! The morning buffet was great, with options for people with food allergies. The staff were great! During the day, I noticed street noise but the nights were quiet.

Very nice property

Location was great, staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was small, but well appointed. The only downside is there are about 6 stairs to get into the hotel which was difficult with strollers and luggage etc.

Leonardo Boutique Hotel is a beautiful, clean, convenient, welcoming hotel where my daughters and I had a wonderful time. We felt safe and comforted. The Lobby Staff was very welcoming and guided us through our stay when we had a few questions for transit issues. All the lobby Staff both young ladies and young men were amazing in making us feel safe, they were very helpful and pleased us in all types of accommodations. The kitchen and breakfast staff was very hospitable and took pride in providing an excellent breakfast for all guest. I love the variety, selection, and quality of food and beverages available to all guest. In addition, the breakfast buffet had a display of wonderful delicious breakfast foods, pastries, yogurts, fruits ( whole and cut) fresh pancakes, coffee station, tea selection and neatness in all the utensils, plates, and cups. Friendliest staff, super convenient location. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam for the first time

Right by Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh musuem and near tram routes and bus route from airport but little way from centre (but trams easy to use) Staff very helpful but bit of a scrum sometimes at breakfast and nowhere near by to get alternative breakfast. Food available limited at other times but plenty of local alternatives for dinner

The hotel room was small, but the great decor and furniture arrangement made it feel sufficient. The stay was comfortable as all the decor was new and modern, and there was enough lighting everywhere. The reception had complimentary fruits to take, and there are a lot of common seating for us to take a rest or have supper

Good experience, great customer service. They could have better towels as they were small. Requested and extra blanket and was given a sheet. Besides that everything was great!
