Many missteps. Disappointed with the hotel at this price point. Will not make a reservation for a local restaurant for you. They claim privacy reasons, even though the reservation could be booked under the hotel name with their phone number and our name. I’ve never encountered this before with a hotel. Arrived from Canada shortly after noon and were told the room was not ready. Check in at 3:00. Some European hotels are so adamant about their check-in time rather than provide customer service to their guest. Going on 24 hours without sleep, a room ready would have been appreciated. What was disappointing and annoying were others checking in and being given room keys. In addition, the reception staff smiling, gesturing and whispering to each other as we sat and waited for over an hour. Poor A/C in the room. It took all night to cool the room to 22-23C. The handheld shower in our bathroom would not stay upright to shower. Our stay was for 2 nights and we requested it be repaired and it was not. Again at this price point this is not something you expect. The furnishings are something you would see in an inexpensive chain hotel. Once again, not something that you would expect at this price point. Overall, a disappointing hotel. Positives - the location if catching a cruise but certainly not enough a reason for a positive review.

Breakfast is very good, with a lot of options. Clean room and nice staff.

Beautiful hotel, excellent staff, and right across the street from a delicious food and metro stop. I would be happy to stay here every time I come to Rotterdam.

Central location, next to metro. Beautiful views. Food and local convenience store a second away. Loved sauna and gym. Only niggle was the only accessing your floor. There was a large group of us spread across different floors. Access was frustrating around this. Other than that fantastic hotel!

It was unbelievable and completely completely perfect. The two things that stood out were the front desk staff — Amondi was a dream come true with a heart of gold and moved mountains to assist us. And also the breakfast. OH MY GOSH ABSOLUTELY TO DIE FOR. Best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel, in a restaurant, in my house, on a cruise ship — ANYWHERE. Pure perfection and worth every penny. I am now loyal to this hotel brand.

The view was simply amazing ! Their is a car park under hotel with lots of spaces Rooms are stunning and breakfast was amazing staff were super helpful Will definitely stay again

Staff was kind, patient, very efficient in the performance of their duties. The room was very fresh and clean.

Excellent room with excellent views in a convenient and walkable area. Metro station basically in front of the hotel. Foodhallen over the road. Large room and very comfy. My only little criticism: in the bathroom, a few things were visibly damaged. I think in a hotel like this, that should not happen.

Again one of my better choices, and thrilled to have had the opportunity to stay here. Location was prime, and walkable/bikeable to everywhere I wanted to go. The area was busy, however not chaotic. The restaurant on site had wonderful and artsy/interesting choices for both food & beverage. I though the pricing was a little steep, but the portions were also more than I had expected. The overall design of the rooms and general property was eye catching and energizing, without compromising ease and comfort. Suitable for solo travelers, business travelers, and families. The staff I met were all kind and helpful, offering a high level of service standard.

The hotel is very good and has a beautiful terrace, but it’s far from downtown/the city center.
