The hotel is in a great location. I was going on a number of organised tours and the hotel was no more than 5 minutes walk from the pickup point for all of these. This enabled me to fit in the maximum activities during the time I was there. The staff were really friendly from the minute I arrived to the minute I left. I let them know in advance that I would be arriving late and they asked whether I would like them to prepare a cold plate because I would miss dinner. This was great, mixed meats and cheese plus some salad items and bread. Coffee is always available. The room was fairly small but as a solo traveller there was plenty of room for me and it had everything I needed. The fact that breakfast and dinner was included was a bonus as again it helped me maximise the time I was there as I didn’t have to find restaurants to eat in when that’s the part of solo travelling I don’t enjoy. I loved Tromso and would book to stay at this hotel on any return trip without hesitation.

The hotel was perfect - the location is amazing. As they say property is all about location, location, location. Home Hotel With is right in the centre of town, with the bus terminal, boat terminal and main street all within 150 metres. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was compact (as booked) but was perfect. Tromso is an expensive city so having both breakfast and dinner included was ideal. The food was good with a good choice of dishes. Where would I stay if I ever go back to Tromso (and I hope to, to see the midnight sun)? Home Hotel With for me is the only show in town.

All food was lovely and plentiful. Only disappointment we had was that the top floor room we had reserved was unavailable.

The sea view was amazing.

A lovely hotel in a perfect location. Really well run and super friendly. We went for the sea view option which gave us a fabulous view. Would definitely book again when we next come to Tromso.

Location of the hotel is perfect. Right on the water for some amazing views and very close to town, the bus and boat stops. Staff all very friendly and good food for breakfast and dinner. Would highly recommend.

Excellent location, facing the mountain with cable car. Generous variety of food for Breakfast. Colorful with texture food displays. The airport red bus stop is 2 minute walk near the water, too.

Lovely hotel. As it's not huge, it had a lovely, cosy atmosphere. Staff were all great. Very helpful and efficient. We loved the breakfast, with good choice of hot and cold items. The afternoon "Fika" was great and the lovely evening meal was a real bonus. The room was very nice. We overlooked the waterfront, which was fabulous. The only slight downside was absence of storage space. A very small recess in the wall, just inside the door, with 4 coathangers and no drawers whatsoever. Having said that, it didn't detract from a very enjoyable stay and we would stay again if we go back to Tromso

We really enjoyed our stay here and wouldn’t hesitate returning. All staff were friendly and welcoming, the location was perfect, the room was comfortable and the food package unbeatable. This stay was excellent value for money and I would recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Tromso.

Absolutely wonderful hotel! Breakfast , snack and dinner included. Hotel staff are very accommodating and near stores and restaurants. Highly recommended when in Tromso!

Very friendly staff and clean room.

We stayed in a Superior room which had a great view over the harbour. The bed was comfortable, plenty of hot water and a good shower. The only negative was the carpet, which was a little worn but to be honest with the view it really didn't matter! The booking included breakfast and a light dinner. Breakfast was a buffet with with hot and cold options and plentiful. Dinner was more limited but there was still plenty to eat. If you want a vegetarian dish then book at reception and the cook will prepare one for you. The hotel was in a perfect location for the city and tours. Highly recommend this hotel if you're planning a visit to Tromsø.

We enjoyed the dinners and Fika so much. The view of the harbor was wonderful. Bed was comfy.

I was unfortunately given room 201 which was directly above the restaurant area and next to the stairwell. This meant that every night was disturbed by the staff moving /dragging the furniture around on the wooden floor and guests going up and down the stairwell. I raised my concerns with the reception and was made to feel foolish and was told that I should have called the front desk. When I tried this option on subsequent nights no one answered to help me. It’s a shame, as the hotel is quite nice and comfortable, but I had such poor sleep here that I would very much recommend refusing room 201 (and probably 202 as well) if you decide to risk staying here. I am sure the hotel will reply that I could have done xyz but having expressed my concerns in person and was met with indifference there seemed little left to do but accept my stay would not be an enjoyable one.

The staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The hotel was warm and clean and felt very homely.

Fabulous situation right on the harbour front with room directly looking out across to the Arctic Cathedral. Very comfortable bed, big shower, a little dated decor, but more than made up for by the warmth and friendliness of the staff, all of whom were wonderful!
