Aozora Seaside Mactan

We had to ask the room to be cleaned, it was done once in 6 days, poor, First day we used the pool, we witnessed a small child in distress after he came out of the pool, Myself and my used the pool, later back in the room, I was itching on parts of my body. My daughter was in agony, crying screaming inpain, scratching herself on parts of her body, we where up most of the night trying to comfort our daughter, I had a cream with me that helped sooth the pain, At one point we were going to the hospital, but decided afteri applied the cream a few times during the night it helped her calm down. I complained the next morning about the pool, they shut it down to investigate. Later that day I enquired about the pool, the receptionist told me they were working on getting the pool ready again to used ,too much Chroline in it. When I enquired again I was told it's ready to use. I told them I and my family will not be using the pool for the rest of our stay, We only booked the hotel because our daughter likes to swim, really disappointed about this, we used another hotel for swimming at our own expense. Great staff and great location. Really good food

Walking in the reception & it looks very promising until started walking to the hallway & the smells of the carpet like wet dump mould carpet & I couldn’t bare the smells so just decided to check out after at 12pm, 3hrs of staying..

The property is good and in a great location, very close to the Lapu-Lapu Monument. However, the bathroom needs an upgrade, and the pool could also use some improvement. We also experienced no hot water for shower during our stay. On a positive note, the staff was awesome—very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Overall, it’s a good resort and still a pleasant place to stay.

Was very decent, could do with softer beds

The staff are excellent and the room was very nice with split AC and wifi. I highly recommend Aozora and this was my second stay there.

The pictures as why I booked it were totally not it , shows was on a nice beach and wasn’t , it was noisy due to the construction going on and all . They even admit the pictures in the site is very misleading , but the staff did put me into a different room that was better and yes I may go back there one day . To go to a nice beach is far away and taxi drivers try to basically rob you on the fares

Nothing about this property was true or correct even the bed asvertised as queen bed was only a double carpet dirty and stained every where pool looks nice in picture looks nothing the same in person, only redeming feature was staff were nice when i told them i wanted to cancel.

Very relaxing in the spacious family room, great views of the sea from the wrap around verandah, lovely to have fresh air when the sliding doors are open. Staff are discreet and courteous. Great food!

perfect location t ocean's gate way Asia peaceful and unique

Very friendly and helpful staff. It's a very quiet resort with a beautiful view. The food in the restaurant was very good.

I went here the other month with my significant other and it practically almost ended our relationship… instead the same day we checked in that evening we booked it for shangri-la and had a 2 night stay there which cost me hefty fee since it was the only place close by that I was comfortable with staying at. This was the first place since being in Cebu that disappointed me. I was supposed to be on vacation for roughly 6 days in Cebu. It didn’t help that towards the end of my stay in Cebu that a cab driver who spoke well English than said I made a mistake to go here with my Significant Other. I am very sorry eyes wide open now about staying in Mactan or Lapu-Lapu. In my opinion as a foreigner I got ripped off and lost over $3000 in total with my trip just there alone… I would come again next time and just book an Air B&B. Altogether I still enjoyed most of what I got to do and see some of it was very beautiful and the hospitality by the bar and food place located on site was so nice a I know y’all are doing construction trying to build up the property but there needs to be warnings or heads up between y’all’s business and the Expedia Webdite/App… this was false advertising I didn’t have access to the amenities like the pool and the beach is more like a rocky dock not safe to go into the water without aqua shoes. Where I come from the beaches aren’t rough or rocky and their is no fear of injuring self. I was lucky enough to book a stay elsewhere…

Wonderful place, yes I noticed construction during the day but it’s not hard to tune out. Staff is wonderful, food is good, and will definitely be a return for me. Only suggestion is better WiFi, but that’s an uptight selfish need of mine for gaming only lol
