Cadlao Resort & Restaurant

We’ve been traveling across the Philippines for 10 days (Manila, Boracay, Coron, and El Nido), and out of all our destinations, this hotel in El Nido was by far our favorite. It truly gives “White Lotus” energy—peaceful, luxurious, and effortlessly stunning. Honestly, we expected this hotel to be the most underwhelming stay of our trip, but it ended up completely exceeding our expectations. It was a dream from start to finish. If you’re looking for a quiet, elevated, and truly special experience, this is the place. We stayed in a Pool Cottage Room, and it was worth every penny—private, serene, and beautifully designed. Also, Jinjer (restaurant on the resort) is the best food we’ve eaten in the Philippines. The entire experience is amazing. And the breakfast….AMAZING. Also to mention, my partner and I felt extremely welcomed and so safe in this resort, especially being a gay couple. We’ve already decided to make this hotel our annual vacation spot and are counting down the days until our return in April 2026!

I recently spent 10 days in Cadlao resort. This is a top notch resort and everything was just perfect. It is well worth the cost. The rooms are spotless. I witnessed the cleaning of the rooms when guest changes took place. They are meticulous and even wipe down the fans and walls. Our daily cleaning was excellent and it was so nice to come back to a spotless and nice smelling room after our days of excursions. The staff are so helpful and go out of their way to make all the guests feel welcome. The food at the resort was very good. From the lavish (included) breakfast to the Al La Carte menu. We were not disappointed by even a single dish. Finally the location, the ambiance, the landscaping, all perfect for a romantic getaway. Don’t hesitate to book

Beautiful beachfront hotel with a restaurant, spa, and 3 pools. Included breakfast is a buffet and hot made to order food which was delcious. Parts of the buffet changed daily which was nice since we had a longer stay. They also include a free tuktuk ride to downtown which is where tours usually start. They also have a black cat named Ursula they have adopted onto the property who is very friendly. There was also a beautiful and friendly orange and white stray cat that visited me everyday i was there and sometimes slept on my porch. Hopefully he stays around and they will take care of him like they take good care of Ursula

We just stayed here for 4 nights and it was perfect! The rooms and other areas were all so clean and tidy. The restaurant served delicious food and the breakfast had plenty of choice. It’s a great location, just a short walk to El Nido town. We really loved it here and would highly recommend. Thank you to the staff for our lovely stay.

Lovely resort with the kindest staff. The resort has 3 general areas, each with its own pool. The restaurant, Jinjer, is a standout and served some of the best Filipino food I’ve ever had - and I’m Filipino! It is elevated Filipino food that is really great. Loved the spa too. And the free tuk tuks to town were a great touch. Highly recommend

I loved this hotel and would definitely stay here again. The staff were all so friendly, kind, and accommodating. The room was beautiful, and the amenities were perfect. The restaurant had incredible breakfast and dinner options. One of the best travel experiences overall that I’ve had with a hotel.

Our stay would have been 5/5 except for one recurring blemish! I will absolutely go back for the beautiful scenary, the garden landscaping, very kind staff, and nice spa. It was the perfect getaway for a couple. Very convenient to have access to everything but just slightly removed from the crowded loud area of town center. Also loved the transportation/tour arrangement shop and souvenir shop just across the road. The one concern I want to raise for management and future guests is the cat that can get quite aggressive jumping on to the table and snatching your food in the restaurant. While most (including myself at first) find it cute that the cat is wandering around the dining area, it started to become problematic once we ordered fish and the cat was relentless in trying to take it from our table (even after staff took the cat away, it came right back). We brought it to the staff’s attention and they tried to blame us for giving food to the cat (we didn’t! This made me upset but otherwise staff was nice so I let it go). The staff didnt seem to think it was a serious concern. Hope management will realize not everyone wants to eat their food constantly worrying the cat is gna jump on the table and swarm around their legs under the table. Some ppl are scared of animals. Anyway, if you are a guest and not willing to draw attention from the cat, just don’t order fish at Jinjer.

Amazing views of the Cadlao mountains and pool. The surrounding areas not so: roads goung to were narrow, transportation to and from the citu to resort was free. The beach is not good for walking around in front of the resort. The good was great!

I liked the service the most. Food in the restaurant is delicious.
