We had a great and comfortable stay at Cadlao. Staff were all incredibly attentive and accommodating. Very friendly. The rooms were comfortable and AC worked great. Beautiful and peaceful property with great views of the bay and Cadlao Island.

Excellent resort. Beautiful surroundings and views, spotless and comfortable rooms, wonderful accommodating staff. Food was good in the restaurant and the servers are great! LOVED this place - pool was awesome. Great place to rest and relax.
The location is great too, if you want to be a bit out of the main hub of town but close enough to walk there for shopping and eating.

Overrated and expensive for what you pay for. Staff was friendly and attentive. My room got downgraded from what I paid for. Booking company supposedly had to fight for my refund by calling Westin in Mexico City, Mexico. Only got refunded for one nights difference, when I was downgraded and moved to another room for 2 nights. Kinda upset!! Like above, place is overrated and very expensive. Went down the beach and got a beach front room for 1/3 the cost w/same view! Paid $4k pesos instead of $15k pesos I had paid at Cadlao.

I’ll start by saying that our stay was cut short due to the typhoon. We were only able to stay for one night.
The staff is so friendly and greet you with an amazing smile. In the short time we had, the grounds were nice and the room was pretty comfortable. Downside, it’s pretty warm in the bathroom and there is no TV (minor problem).
We were very disappointed with the bevahior of what we assume was management toward staff. On 2 separate occasions, in front of paying guests, he berated the staff for small errors. It was not professional and left a very bad impression.
I can only assume this is not an isolated incident and I hope that this behavior will change in the future for the staff’s sake.

Amazing view from the pools and restaurant. Great food for breakfast and dinner. The staff were lovely and the complimentary tuk tuk to town and back really makes the difference. Such a peaceful hotel.

The resort was stunning. The room was very clean and the restaurant was amazing especially their breakfast spread. The only drawback was the pool in our area (Cadlao 3) was not as inviting as the other pools. Also, there were some decorative features around the property that can potentially store stagnant water which lead to many mosquitoes in the area. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

The staff service is unquestionable. Everyone is friendly and hospitable. The rooms are clean and pleasing to the eye. Staffs are very attentive to guests needs and can be messaged 24/7.The road going from and to the property is not the most pleasant but they provide 24/7 transport which really helps. The property is very quiet and relaxing. If you need a place to relax, unwind and just enjoy silence, I recommend this resort!

This is an amazing property. Breakfast was very good made to order. The Staff here are so lovely making sure you have a nice stay. Housekeeping is impeccable. It has a nice view although there isn’t really a beach but it’s just a 20 minute tricycle ride to vanilla beach for wonderful sunsets. I would definitely recommend Caldao Resort

A beautiful, quiet oasis very close to town. Staff was very attentive and welcoming. Right on the water, gorgeous views. The pools were great. We absolutely loved our stay here, highly recommend it.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Cadlao, the staff were so friendly and everyone looked after me and made me feel very welcome. They assisted with carrying my luggage and booking an airport driver, and they were very responsive on WhatsApp which made me feel safe in case I was out and about and needed assistance. There is also a tuk-tuk that takes you from the hotel into town and back which was great!
It was quiet and peaceful at Cadlao and the beds were really comfortable, and the shower water was always warm. The only thing I would have enjoyed that the room didn’t include was a mini fridge to keep my food and drinks refrigerated.
The complimentary tea-time and cake at 4pm and then happy hour at 5-6pm was lovely as well. I would love to come stay here in the future!
