Nice place to relax
Attentive, lovely and very helpful staff, nice bungalow , all very clean, but some of the furniture & soft furnishings in odd places (for example we kept banging our heads against the low hanging lamps next to the beds...) and we could have done with some more storage. Good pool, fab views across the bay, lovely to watch the evening sky change. Really nice food as well, upper price range for El Nido but worth it. 2 of our kids have severe nut allergies and we really were very confident that we could ‘trust’ their food. Access to the sea, but NO beach, just rocky shore, not particularly attractive, def not good for swimming. Short walk into El Nido on a path that can get quite busy, is partially unlit and after rain very muddy, but they also provide courtesy transport with the typical Tricycles. All in all whilst we very probably would not go back to El Nido we had a nice stay at the Cadlao Resort.

Peaceful, nice place with a view
My friend and I stayed in El Nido over the weekend. Cadlao Resort was simple yet beautiful. Rooms are very basic. No tv, mini bar or phone however that was fine by us. I understand the wifi wasnt great but it was a 30 sec walk to the main office to pick up a signal, no big deal. The grounds of cadlao were quite pretty and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant/bar was also fine, right on the water with a relaxing ocean view, food was good. Probably not the resort to suit everybodys needs but we enjoyed our stay.

Rude Staff and Rude mata pobre owner
First of all this place is far away from town which you need to cross the cemetery. Road going to Cadlao is dark and muddy. The owner is rude and mata pobre which is the down side of this resort. This is an ok resort if you have less expectation but for the costumer service is poor and road is poor. The front desk will look at you from head to toe when you check in which you feel intimidated and irritated. Well, this is a Filipino culture, crab mentality ayaw malamangan ng kapwa pinoy. We are in the restaurant eating dinner and overheard the owner gossiping other people she knows in El Nido with her friends which they are laughing out loud. They are not thinking that they have some Filipino costumers and can understand what they are talking about even some of the words they spoke was in French as they were talking with French couple. This makes me mad and lost respect for the unprofessional behavior of the resort owner for gossiping about othe people in public and laughing out loud like noone is around. It was not my problem if she is gossiping in public where all the guest could hear but hey be respectable enouh and be a role model to your staff and next time owner, kung mag tsismisan man kayo make it private or pwede kayo lang pwede makarinig because you are telling people especially your guest what kind of person you are and people lost respect on you. It was a shame on you!

Best resort in El Nido with stunning ocean views!
My fiancé and I stayed at Cadlao Resort in mid Sept '17. We had an outstandingly memorable experience & were fortunate with good weather. Cadlao is one of the best resorts in El Nido town due to great location, reasonable rates, spectacular ocean views, infinity pool, cleanliness & hospitable restaurant and resort staff. We stayed in one of the bungalows which had a cozy bed and moderately updated bathroom. The ocean view from our bungalow porch was priceless! The restaurant has stunning ocean views of the limestone islands afar. Restaurant staff were exceptionally kind, attentive, accommodating & professional- you felt right at home! More importantly, the food was exceptionally tasty- great quality, fresh seafood & authentic Filipino food. Breakfast is a feast and FREE with abundant choices. Had a rejuvenating Hilot (traditional Filipino) massage at the spa. Masseuse was excellent & strong. Spa was clean with an island ambience. Wifi is only accessible in two places; the lobby and the second pool. However, the wifi is generally unreliable all over El Nido so plan accordingly. Great location but keep in mind that access to the resort is by tricycle or foot (10-12 min), not by car (road is too small for automobiles). Only a 10-12 minute walk to El Nido town which is full of shops, restaurants, diving shops, etc. We would highly recommend this resort and would love to bring our family back to this lovely place!

Luxurious stay!
A group of 7 of us transferred from a different place which was quite basic. This resort welcomed us and gave us a generous offer of vouchers to use. Rooms were beautiful, big bathrooms and plenty of towels. The pool overlooking the water has stunning views. We were blown away with the friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the rooms and the delicious meals in the restaurant. Also their spa treatments were AMAZING! They even do an aloe vera massage for sunburn. We felt very comfortable here and we highly recommend this place. Oh and the day trips to other islands were fantastic! Very well organised! The family running this business are doing an excellent job! Do come and see for yourself!
