The staff just don’t seem bothered or professional, the room was dated but happy overall, just very dusty above picture frames etc, the breakfast was terrible? For a hotel like this, no hot buffet present, burnt croissants, hardly any choice? I’ve had two star hotels with better breakfast, the Hilton Hampton in Cluj breakfast was amazing how can two hotels be so different in the same chain, it really was so poor.

The hotel has surprisingly slow internet in the rooms, and the level of room heat seems to be controlled by the front desk. They have the heat at 28 degrees. You have to open a window if you want to cool down and get up in the night to close the window, then repeat the process if necessary. These are fixable technical problems; I hope they get to them soon.

Easy to park. Clean room. Decent breakfast.

Rooms are filthy with multiple stains, no sound proofing so you will not sleep well.

I am shocked and deeply disappointed with my stay at this Hilton. I slipped and fell in the shower because of a serious maintenance issue, and when I reported it, nothing was done for two days. I fell in a Foosh manner hurt my wrist, low-back, and my feet hit the upper bathroom sink. Two days of being ignored after getting hurt in their hotel room! The lack of concern for guest safety and well-being is appalling. I expected care and responsibility, but instead I was treated like my safety didn’t matter. This experience has completely destroyed my trust in Hilton, and I would never recommend this property to anyone. I would like a refund for this property, please advise on the next step.

The hotel is very clean and conveniently located near the old citadel. I especially appreciated the spa area, which includes a sauna and steam room—both complimentary with your stay. The room was spotless and the bed extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night’s rest. My only minor complaint would be the TV channel selection; it would be nice to have Digi channels available for watching the games. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

We had a great time at the property. The staff from the reception from the cleaning staff were really nice and very hospitable. We also had the welcome cookie which was still warm and delicious. The property is very accessible to the old town area and just a few meters walk from good restaurants.

Air conditioning did not work well. It was hot in our room, would not go below 22. This was after we changed rooms because the tv in the first room did not work and the air conditioning didn’t work at all. It was 26 in our room.

Nice room, great location. Rude unprofessional staff; unfriendly check in, receptionist on checkout didn't even interrupt her phone call. Staff in breakfast room didn't replace items that ran out, e.g. milk even when asked.

Great value for money, good location with many amenities nearby , clean and spacious room

Booked this hotel because it was a Doubletree by Hilton and had friends also book a room. There were problems with the lights in the room. The drain in the shower did not drain well and flooded the entire bathroom floor. The place was dark and kind of creepy - maybe appropriate if you’re into the Dracula myth. Overall - very tired looking - needed a major renovation several years ago. Our friends room at check-in was totally not clean. They were moved to a cheaper room and our guide had to fight to get them the reduction. There were not a suffix number of towels in the room and the shower only had scalding hot water - such that a shower was not possible. I would avoid this place and Hilton needs to send out its inspection team.

This is the worst hotel I have ever encountered. To begin we checked in without incident....went to the assigned room It had not been prepared fore guests. It was dirty. The bed had not been made and trash cans were on the bed. A vacuum cleaner was left in the middle of the room. I did not have a chance to check out the bathroom. I returned to the reception desk to report the problem. The employee made no comment and gave no apology. He offered a replacement room at a lower price category and only provided a reduction in price when prompted. We went to the newly assigned room. The lights did not work and we had to summon the reception man to fiddle with the system. Also there was one bath towel, not two. An additional towel was provided upon request. In the morning I attempted to take a shower. But the cold water knob did not work and I was scaled by the hot water and had to wash up in the sink. I needen did d to leave the hotel to meet a schedule so did not have time to summon reception again. Upon checkout I reported the latest problem with the room and once again there was no comment and no apology. This was definitely the worst hotel experience of my life.

We liked Ibolya at the reception, she was very kind and helpful. The sink in our bathroom did not work, the aircon was noisy, the elevator music in the foyer was audible in the room.

The hotel is located right beside the busy highway coming into the city. The room was super hot - 26C and the controls to turn the temperature lower were not working. The breakfast was dismal: limited selection, awful coffee and the lights weren’t turned on!

Clean, quiet room, comfortable bed, close to the old town, nice swimming pool. Breakfast staff friendly and helpful. Reception staff very grumpy.

You can’t beat this hotel for a quality stay and price. The staff are friendly with a nice breakfast in the morning and good quality restaurant for an evening meal. The facilities are fantastic with a nice swimming pool, sauna and steam room.

Central location. The staff is very thoughtful and helpful. Food was good in restaurant. East parking. Nice bar. Would stay again..
