On a layover in Madrid
Typical airport hotel- high level of comfort but miserable staff that doesn't have to care about the customer experience.
Everyone was rude, particularly the shuttle driver who gave me an eye roll after I told her which terminal I was going to!
They also sent me an email before I arrived to make sure they would pick me up on time yet I got stranded for 1h30 early morning despite repeated phone calls on roaming…
Also their amenities (spa) come at extra costs.
