Location Is unbeatable. Staff incredibly helpful: Guillermo was the best hotel staff person I’ve ever encountered, while Victoria and Ikram were also great. Room was small but bed was super comfortable and shower excellent. Great place to stay at 4 star level.

Awesome place

The rooms are small but well equipped and very clean The hotel is in an excellent central location in the old town,quiet at night busy during the day however it is a city so to be expected. Breakfast was good but limited options. Staff are excellent. The hotel bar and restaurant are open to non residents so there is always a good atmosphere,both the food and drink here are very good.

Helen Berger is a super little boutique hotel in the heart of Valencia. Perfectly placed for all the sites of the old town and further. Rooms are small, very clean and quietly sophisticated. Staff were very helpful at all times providing seamless check-in, bike hire and restaurant recommendations. The restaurant is popular with locals and provides a relaxed bar experience.

Everything was great, good attention to the details.....even down to , toothbrush, hair straighteners and dyson hair drier in the room, and netflix on tv. Easy to walk to tourist areas, station, and lots of cafes, restaurants and shops close by. Good prices in hotel bar and fridge in room. Good AC and water pressure. Staff very smiley and helpful. A little noisy in street at times but no problem sleeping.

Honestly we cannot fault our stay in any way at all. It all starts with the reception desk staff and they were found to be incredibly helpful and ever so friendly. I cannot recall their names but both the young man and young lady were awesome. The room itself was also fantastic. Plenty of space to move around. A really comfortable large bed with a pillow menu also available. The bathroom was also faultless with one of the best tropical showers I have ever used. We asked for a quiet room and that's exactly what we got, so we slept well. Breakfast was also great. We typically went down early when the breakfast area was almost empty. It was busier the last day but we went down much later. All of the staff there were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast food options were also great with a menu option available to allow one to sample a cooked breakfast with varying options. Cereals, fruit, cold meats, cakes also available. The hotel also has a restaurant serving food all day. We only had our evening meal there on one occasion but it was lovely. We recommend the 'fish and chips'. The location of the hotel is great - being only 10 minutes away from both a main metro station and the Cathedral. Its a really lovely boutique hotel and we would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a lovely, comfortable, centrally located hotel in Valencia. Lovely superior rooms , great breakfast, bar and restaurant - highly recommend!

My experience was really good. The staff is super friendly and helped me on my few requests. Will totally go back whenever I’m in Valencia. Also the restaurant is great as well.

Room was spotless with great amenities. The only negative was a cold tiled floor in a cold bathroom in December, no heating in the bathroom.

Very Disappointing Stay — Poor Service and Unfulfilled Promises Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was very disappointing and fell well short of expectations. Despite being advertised as a luxury boutique hotel, it felt far more like a standard business hotel. The rooms are small, although the bathrooms are large and the showers excellent — powerful and modern. Sadly, there was a persistent drain smell coming from the bathroom that also affected the bedroom. Our family, staying in another room, had the same issue, so it seems to be a wider problem. There is also ongoing construction directly across the street, starting early and continuing late, making it hard to get a peaceful night’s sleep. The only real positives were the cleanliness of the rooms and the excellent housekeeping staff. Breakfast was decent, with good allergen information and a pleasant atmosphere, though the cooked dishes were inconsistent — the poached eggs were underdone one morning and overdone (and very slow to arrive) the next. The gentleman serving at breakfast was lovely and one of the few genuinely warm members of staff we encountered. In contrast, the reception staff were cold and unaccommodating. Before our stay, I emailed twice (once in English and once in Spanish) to mention we were visiting for my 40th birthday and asked if the hotel could do anything small to mark the occasion. I never received a reply. When I enquired about this on arrival, I was simply told, “Sorry you didn’t get a r
