RVHotels Vila de Tossa

Clean rooms, no service personnel at reception except a virtual check in using devices at the desk in the lobby. Restaurant was not open but in the near vicinity there are several restaurants.

Great location, large room, check in was a bit complicated but other then that we had a great stay

The Hotel is comfortable and in a good location. A few minutes walk gets you to the beach, local eats around the corner, a market and a pharmacy nearby. There is no Parking…it says there is parking, but the street parking in front of the hotel is not long term. The problem with this Hotel is that there is no one at the facility and contact to customer service is through wassap and Ai…checking in was a pain, you have to do all of it online (they should provide a temp code to get into the hotel) and to make matters worse, they had a system glitch where everyone was locked out of the Hotel and the rooms. I get they are trying to go full tech; but when stuff goes wrong you have to have someone available. The cleaning crew could not help because they are forbidden and everything is being recorded. This is a Hotel being ran like an Air B n B

It was far too hot to sleep there and no one told us it would be virtual check in it was the most stressful experience!

The virtual check in was a mess. First off you can only enter the lobby of the hotel with a code at the door. If you have not checked in you do not have a code. We had to wait for someone to leave the lobby and walk in while the door was open. We had issues with the check in and since it was virtual we had to call and message via WhatsApp as directed on the signs in the lobby next to the iPad to check in. No one responded via WhatsApp or answered when we called the number. We ended up hunting down a maid who did her best to help. If not for her I do not know if we would have been able to get checked in. If we would have come after the maids left we would have been in a bind. The messages sent on whatsapp were never replied to. The money they saved by not staffing the lobby made this a place we will never visit again.

Overall experience was great for a quick getaway if you plan on staying for a couple of night highly suggest this place !

Parking very difficult

Great location, clean rooms and great service from check-in to check-out. Price is very abordable.

Everything from the check in to the check out was wonderful. Room was cleaned daily, staff were friendly and the location was perfect!

The hotelroom is big and spacious. Tou can see green mountains fromnthe windows. There was a strong smell of detergent and cleaning materials so for alergic people it could be a challenge. Other than that the hotel is placed only two blocks from the bus station and a few blocks from the sea. The street is very lively and offers abundance of options. There is a supermarket right infront and a beautiful walkable path.

Excellent hotel beautiful

Booked this holiday really last minute without knowing too much about the area. Tossa de Mar is beautiful, perfect if you want a relaxing break away to walk around and take in the sea/views/town life that is on offer. Everything is within walking distance and we found everything so naturally, and by the 2nd night we pretty much knew our way back to the hotel without a map! Historical town centre is constantly breathtaking in whichever light you see it, it was so fun to wonder round all the streets/shops/restaurants. Let’s also not forget the Tossa castle ruins and beaches- so easy to access and again- stunning. Hotel Vila de Tossa was great- perfect for everything we needed. It was super clean through the whole property and we could decide when we wanted housekeeping to come which was really good. The room was simple but big and decor was nice, bed was super super comfy and the balcony was a great bonus for us. Plenty of towels and toiletries provided, but maybe could’ve done with an extra bin in the bedroom itself (there was only one in the bathroom). Breakfast buffet was good and provided lots of options, I am vegetarian so it can be difficult to find substantial meals catered for my diet. Staff were really kind and always said hello, and were also very forgiving of our limited Spanish (lol). I would absolutely book this hotel again!

This is advertised as Upscale adults-only hotel, it’s not … There are high chairs in the dining room. We only saw 1 baby in our 4 nights here but it’s not adults only. As most people have already stated it’s a great location, very clean and good size rooms with lovely balcony, breakfast was much better than I expected very nice, a bit of everything. I wouldn’t say the staff are rude but not over friendly/ helpful With Expedia you get 18 euro off food and drink we had to ask for this as it was not discussed at check in, and a plate of Chorizo and cheese came with a glass of some kind of alcoholic beverage… my husband drank it he said it was ok 👍 you don’t get to choose what you spend the 18 euros on. We asked could we wait on the rooftop terrace as our room wasn’t ready - it’s no longer there 😩 The night before we left we asked for a wake up call as we had an early flight, that didn’t happen, when we were leaving the chap on reception looked like he was having a nap himself 😂 Overall it was a great trip visiting one of our favourite places 😊

Great hotel, helpful staff, very clean hotel and room with a nice balcony. Huge bathroom. Loved everything about it.

Overall it was fine, conveniently located, clean and staff was nice. I saw there was parking available when I booked, but I did not see it had to be reserved in advance; there are only 3 spaces, so we had to pay for parking a few blocks away.

The staff was GREAT. Kind of off to a rough start but the front desk ladies were amazing!!
