I loved the community spaces and facilities, especially the roof top terrace. The room was efficient and the bed was incredibly comfortable. It was apparent that everyone was happy to be there.

The perfect hotel on a budget! This place has hostel vibes in the best possible way. The rooms are small but incredibly clean, modern, and pretty. The bedding was fluffy and so comfortable, and the shower was hands down my favorite of our entire Europe trip.
While there isn’t a fridge in the room, there’s a great common area with a kitchen and coffee/tea machines where you can prepare food. There are also lots of cozy sitting areas that make it easy to enjoy takeout or grocery store meals.
The location is fantastic—just an easy 8–10 minute walk from the train station, right in the beautiful old city of Bern. We were able to walk to all the major old city sights within 3–4 hours. On top of that, the shopping options in this area are endless—the best we experienced anywhere in Switzerland. There are also countless restaurants nearby and an immense selection of grocery stores, making it incredibly convenient for any type of traveler.
Our particular room was one of the few that looked directly out onto a cement wall. We mentioned this to the host, who kindly invited us to meet in the common area (likely to try to switch our room), but since we were only there briefly and had already gone out exploring, we didn’t follow up. Even so, we really appreciated that the host was open to feedback. And in the end, that room did have the upside of extra privacy and quiet compared to others.

I really enjoyed the cooking facilities and lounge area on the first floor. As my room as small it was a good place to relax when I wasn't out and about.
I was a little apprehensive about the digital keys on the app at first but it worked very well. I was very pleased to be able to access my room early as it was available and to be able to leave my luggage and continue to use the communal areas for 7 hours between check out for the room and 6pm. Much appreciated as my train was at 4pm.
Room was very quiet despite both the hotel and the area being busy. Lovely place to stay.
It is also a really convenient 3 mins walk from the station - once you get out of the labarynthine station complex.

Great place. Quirky yet comfortable rooms in a central location. I liked the the serviced communal areas on the first floor for preparing own food, gave it a youth hostel type feel. The presence of the helpful friendly hosts added to the charm of the place. The roof terrace with views of the mountains and the city were a favourite place to bring breakfast and start the day.

The room is cozy but small, very convenient location with shops, grocery stores, transportation and main attractions. Guest cards are excellent so you can save some money moving around town. Anicca is such an amazing host. There is a kitchen that can be used in the main lobby with coffee machine, tea, and microwave. Terrace has an amazing view from the city. Online check-in was easy and convenient and hotel keys were on the app for easy access to the facility. I would recommend this hotel.

The online check-in was fine, but accessing the doors using the online page was not the best option.
You have to connect to the free Wifi first, otherwise you might need to pay for internet connection (Switzerland doesn't adhere to the EU roaming as other countries in Europe).
Opening the external doors with the phone was not an issue, but the room wasn't as smooth, it always took us few tries before it worked. A bit annoying, but not a deal breaker.
The room is really small, so everything is tight, but it has everything you need and it's well kept and very clean.
The common area has free tea and coffee.
The wifi works well.
The location is fantastic, in the heart of the town, walkable distance from the train station.

Funky hotel, but very nice with large common areas. Totally contact-less (keys are on a phone app), about 10 minute walk from train station. Most tourist sites are close. Our room was a little odd (upper floor with sloped ceilinds, bed in middle of room). The bed was comfortable, and it's one of the few places we found with air-conditioning (slow, but it eventually made the foom nice on a hot day. But there is a kitchen area and refrigerator available for guests, as well as a free washer and dryer! The breakfast was very good with a nice variety.

Only Issue is the size of the room. No space to open your luggage. If they change the layout of the room it will be more spacious. Feels a little cramped. Better push the bed on one side rather than sticking the bed in the middle with Little to no space to walk around the bed.
