Amari Phuket

This is a really lovely property and I would give it 4.75 stars if it was an option. The rooms were super clean. The service was fantastic. The breakfast buffet was pretty good although we have had better in Thailand. But the staff were just incredible, so kind and friendly. The only reason I didn’t give five stars was the showers are not good - and after travelling 25 hours from Canada, I really just wanted a nice shower. The water pressure is weak. They were only lukewarm at best and the worst part is they leaked literally everywhere. The staff was really great about coming and cleaning it up, but still, it was a bit of a pain in the butt. That said it would not be enough to keep me from coming back the property as well located away from the crazy of Patong Beach - however if you are a late sleeper, be warned… You can hear the bass from the parties late into the night. It’s only a short walk to the main strip, but still feels away from it enough to find some peace. We really enjoyed it.

This place is a complete joke. First off, it’s a 3 star hotel unless you pay for the 1/2 bedroom suites which are located in a different exclusive area. The pictures you see of the resort (infinity pool) are for the exclusive area only. About 80% of rooms are not in this exclusive area. I’m all about investing but we didn’t need a 1/2 bedroom suite but thought we were getting something different. They insisted on up charging me just so I could get access to the better pool area. The resort is very dated. Towels were all tattered, public bathrooms were not clean. We stayed in 5 stars throughout Thailand and this was a big disappointment for our last stop. Won’t be booking with Amari ever again.

Clean room friendly staff, breakfast variety and location very good

Nice hotel with nice location and good staff. Negative point that his hotel is a kind of resort where you have to reach your rooms with an internal transportation and during hotel peak hour it become a nightmare moving within your room and reception or restaurants

The property is beautiful with beautiful private beach, multiple pool experiences, and cascading landscape from the hilltop-level to the beach. The room cleaness wasn’t at high standard and the overall food was acceptable but not special. Staff is always friendly. The hotel location is excellent in relation to Patong beach and downtown. Overall it was a nice experience.

Everything from the immaculate room, attention to detail with cleanliness and service, all staff were extremely courteous and friendly. We loved dining on fresh, nutritious meals with views of paradise on our doorstep. Highly recommend and will return again with pleasure.

Friendly staff, great food and pool areas

The property is great except they dont have enough service cars to take you around and there is a long wait for the buggies.

Great staff and dining options on site. close proximity to Patong beach- walkable without needing cab. Great access to night markets. Pools were nice and beach in front of hotel was nice to chill and get some down time.

Rude customer service

This hotel in Phuket was the perfect place to relax and disconnect. One of the highlights of the stay was the beautiful view, especially during sunrise and sunset. Waking up to open views of nature and the surrounding landscape made every morning feel peaceful and unhurried. What truly stood out was the quietness of the property. Despite being in Phuket, the hotel felt calm and secluded, away from the crowds and noise. It was ideal for resting, recharging, and enjoying slow moments by the balcony and common areas without interruptions. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was tranquil, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring the island. It’s a great choice for travelers looking for peace, privacy, and scenic views, rather than a busy or party-focused environment. Overall, this hotel offers a serene escape with stunning views, perfect for couples, solo travelers, or anyone seeking a relaxing stay in Phuket. I would gladly return.

One of my favorite hotels in Patong I stay there because it’s very quiet clean amazing breakfast beautiful big rooms away from all the noise but during my stay there was a festival so it was very loud and I got no sleep till about 3 AM but I cannot blame the hotel It wasn’t their fault other than that an amazing stay.

Room and hotel staff and breakfast was all amazing except for they had beach parties for some Christmas celebration, which was very disturbing because it was like a club bass music right outside the hotel and I paid so much money to stay there and got hardly any sleep, but other than that, it’s my favorite hotel in Phuket Patong

Disgusting old mold smell dirty

Poor service, did not refill shower gel after house keeping. Bedsheets smelled bad. Overall experience was not worth the price paid
