The service is good, the staffs are nice especially the lady who serves at the breakfast room, she’s very friendly. The location is also good very close to the groceries and the bus stop.

Staff were friendly and helpful but the noisy plumbing was scary. Also noisy people above and around my room at all hours. Intoxicated locals hanging around outside at all hours.
On the plus side hotel is within walking distance to restaurants and stores.

The area around the property is nearby a Wallmart and Tim Hortons that is convenient. However, the area has a lot of homelessness with lounging around asking for money and cigarettes. It was uncomfortable leaving the front lobby to the parking lot. There is night security but perhaps during the day and present outside the lobby area. The inside was renovated from when I stayed here last year that is brighter and more inviting. The room service is at request which I didn't mind. My coworker checked in and the room wasn't cleaned up after the previous occupant. Staff was apologetic and changed rooms right away for him. Staff are friendly and helpful but can only do so much.

Five stars for the staff. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
The building needs lots of repairs.
The rooms are damp and smells like mildew. The counters, table top and bedside table were sticky. The carpet is filthy and sticky. We were advised on check in that room cleaning is every other day and that did not occur. Garbage and laundry from most of the rooms would build up in the halls.
The breakfast options are limited and what is available is of poor quality. The hot food is cold and often still frozen in the centre. There was never any spoons available and cups were in limited supply often running out and forcing people to be drinking out if the waffle measuring cups.
For a city that is heavily dependent on tourism this not what is expected given the price.

The walls were very thin. I heard my neighbors all evening and also when they got up at 5am packing to check out. Both front desk ladies were not very friendly. The housekeeper was very friendly though.

It was an ok stay but there was no phone in my room, no air conditioning, no screen in the window. I asked to have my room cleaned but they forgot so did it the next day and I almost slipped in the tub
