Central Studio Hotel was a pleasant surprise, great value for money and excellently located close to public transport. Staff were professional and helpful, my room was quiet and clean, and bonus, I was able to control the air-conditioning!

The staff on check in was lovely man. We did not receive a working keycard as the system was down. The location was great and the bed very comfy however the hotel really needs a refresh with very outdated rooms and torn and worn carpet in the lobby. I thought it was too expensive after staying there. But that's Sydney I guess!

This property is cheap and that's all it has going for it. Had to stay twice as pre & post trip accommodation was locked in with no refund possible. On both occasions the allocated rooms were badly in need of maintenance. Will never book this property again.

Air con was too noisy to run through out the night. No Sydney tv channels available. Shower floor waste unable to cope with the water flow so had to turn off the water midway through shower to allow the water to drain otherwise the bathroom would have flooded.

Been staying here for the last 11 years, use to be great, but this be the last time. Since it changed name a few years ago it has become terrible. Its become very grotty, in room carpets & bathroom smell, bin broken, batteries flat in tv remote, a-lot of marks on walls in room, but worst of all is the bed quilt, it was stained with blood, sweat & also what looks like urine, they just try cover it up with a white throw over sheet. Floor level hallway we stayed on the carpet loose, torn & smells strong mouldy smell

Very tired place. Lots of marks on walls, ripped carpet level 9 near lifts. Bathroom sink stained, pillows too bulky. (Which would be fine if there was a choice). Ordinary oldish TV (no HD) But bed was comfy and staff were great.

The position in Sydney was ideal for going to the Capitol Theatre. The staff were great when we checked in. The room was a good size but the bathroom was a little tired looking and didn't seem very clean, but maybe just a bit past used by date. There was tea & coffee facilities for two but only one tiny uht milk tub in the little bar fridge. There also where no wine glasses in the room for the bottle we bought along with us. The bed was a king size and it was clean and comfortable. On the whole it was okay but maybe they need to spruce up the bathrooms a little.
