Charlesworth Bay Beach Resort

Great view of the surrounding resort grounds and even glimpse of the ocean. Spacious well equipped room. Friendly helpful staff. Resort has great facilities and a short walk to a quiet beach.

Renovated bedroom, very comfortable bed. Bathroom rather dated and blinds quite old. But other fixture and fittings were fine. It was very well equipped and I wasn't expecting the separate laundry room. I would stay again.

Great and helpful staff. The resort has good amenities, location is a plus. The 3 bedroom apartment layout was great but definitely needs upgrading and furniture replaced, very old and outdated which is a shame. Access to the gym would be a plus. Otherwise the resort it’s itself was excellent.

The staff was great and the resort area and amenities were very nice.

Great spot

From a wonderful checkin receptionist through to the restaurant staff, the people here are a credit to the organisation. Yes, the room is a bit dated... but its spacious, very comfortable and if you want a resort experience ( great little golf course .... bring your clubs!!) with easy access to beach and coastal walks.... this represents amazing value for money. The restaurant food is outstanding and the golf course is very well maintained. As you can tell, we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights!

auto style property could probably use a little bit of an update but it’s clean. It’s tidy. It’s great service. Really good just to go chill out.

Space of room

Lovely quiet location with great ammenities.

Room was old and outdated. AC barely worked and bathroom tiles were in need of replacement. The resort facilities were fabulous!

Resort overall is a little tired, which is why it was a bit cheaper.

Checking in was hard. No signs drove around as it is in the pacific bay resort. Apparently this hotel is a break away of owners from the pacific bay. Apparently I Was suppose to of got a text and did not. So that took an hour, found reception they said I would get a text for a key lock box out the front of the room. Finally got to the room that text didn’t come, I stood out the front of the room call reception who didn’t pick up for 20mins. Finally a text with the code come through. I booked a higher grade spa room… I entered the room and it was the most run down hotel I had ever stayed in. I would have hated to see the basic room. I rang and paid more for the highest level room. That was in no way a higher level room. All together 1.5hrs to finally get into the room, no mobile service with either Telstra or Optus. 2 shampoos no conditioner, lifted a towel from the towel rack and the rack fell to the ground, shower in a high corner spa bath elderly people would struggle to have a shower, no access to gym plus many more. If you want to stay here I would suggest staying at pacific bay resort.

The staff were very helpful and prompt. The room was quiet.

Overall a pleasant stay. Updated decor was appreciated. I had to unfortunately clean the bathtub and taps (before use). Vertical grab rail upon entry to bathtub not secured at bottom aspect of rail. Having guests take their rubbish out is not appropriate. Thank you.

The rooms are abit tired looking, but the grounds are pretty and the 3 pools, close to beach great. The restaurant on site is really good

Staff were lovely and the place was spotless. Lovely food setved in the restaurant. Really beautiful surroundings and so relaxing by the pool. Would definitely go back.

The spa did not work and was not fixed during our stay!
