Checking in was hard. No signs drove around as it is in the pacific bay resort. Apparently this hotel is a break away of owners from the pacific bay. Apparently I Was suppose to of got a text and did not. So that took an hour, found reception they said I would get a text for a key lock box out the front of the room. Finally got to the room that text didn’t come, I stood out the front of the room call reception who didn’t pick up for 20mins. Finally a text with the code come through. I booked a higher grade spa room… I entered the room and it was the most run down hotel I had ever stayed in. I would have hated to see the basic room. I rang and paid more for the highest level room. That was in no way a higher level room. All together 1.5hrs to finally get into the room, no mobile service with either Telstra or Optus. 2 shampoos no conditioner, lifted a towel from the towel rack and the rack fell to the ground, shower in a high corner spa bath elderly people would struggle to have a shower, no access to gym plus many more. If you want to stay here I would suggest staying at pacific bay resort.

The staff were very helpful and prompt. The room was quiet.

Overall a pleasant stay. Updated decor was appreciated. I had to unfortunately clean the bathtub and taps (before use). Vertical grab rail upon entry to bathtub not secured at bottom aspect of rail. Having guests take their rubbish out is not appropriate. Thank you.

The rooms are abit tired looking, but the grounds are pretty and the 3 pools, close to beach great. The restaurant on site is really good

Staff were lovely and the place was spotless. Lovely food setved in the restaurant. Really beautiful surroundings and so relaxing by the pool. Would definitely go back.

The spa did not work and was not fixed during our stay!

Easy check in. I am not tfe type of person to get on my hands and knees looking for dust or paint missing off the shirting. Room was big enough, water was hot enough, air con worked well, sheets were clean. Yes would stay again.

Room was clean but I would suggest that a broom be included in the room to sweep the floors which become gritty after a couple of days. A dustpan and brush is provided but a broom is also needed to save elderly knees. All the staff I had contact with were very friendly and helpful. The amenities were great. Beautiful grounds and room was quiet. Bed was comfortable. Enjoyed our stay.

Spacious appt with ocean views. Nice resort with easy beach access and to coastal trails. Compact golf course & multiple swimming pools.

Wifi isn’t working as expected.

The rooms were a little run down, especially the bathrooms. Our "spa tub" smelled like an electrical burning smell when we turned it on. So we only uaed it a few times. I appreciated having laundry available in the rooms. We used it every day. We were there for 8 nights and never had room service come, even though we were supposed to. So we quickly ran out of towels and shampoos. The front desk was very accommodating and gave us what we needed when I asked for it, though. It was a pretty easy check in and very easy check out. I liked the convenience of the pools and it was ver close to our favorite beach: Diggers Beach. All in all it was fine. Not sure we would book it again.

The Room was a total disappoint - the room has not had any work done in the last 20 years - dirty - with squashed cockroaches in kitchen shelf - mold on celling - rust stains down the walls - dust on wardrobe shelfs - spend 20 minutes wiping shelfs - windows full of dirt and mold - sliding doors full of dirt and mold - bathroom full full of mold and broken tiles - dirt on walls - full of scuff makes every where - wifi constantly dropped out - room 1118 do not book that room - staff helpful enough - we asked for a discount and provided pictures - we got a 10% discount which is not near anywhere satisfactory by having to stay in a run down dirty apartment - had a spa full with rust - absolute terrible to actually sell an apartment in such a state. When we booked originally we booked for 8 days and paid for 8 nights then we where told room is actually not available for 8 nights only 6 - we then had to find accommodation some where else for 2 nights. I am a senior manager in a Hotel - this was the worst accommodation we have stayed in ever !!!

The property itself is beautiful and well presented. Common areas were clean and well maintained, the pools were lovely, and the staff were friendly, accommodating, and offered plenty to guests. Unfortunately, the economy room fell well below the standard implied by the listing and advertised photographs. The furniture, fixtures, and fittings were outdated and in poor condition. The bathroom required maintenance, with cracked tiles, a loose showerhead, a leaking sink tap, and visible mould. Cleanliness within the room was not to an acceptable standard, with significant dust throughout, including within the air conditioning unit. The room was also very cramped, with minimal usable space. Considering the high nightly rate, the condition of this room was disappointing. The bed was extremely firm and uncomfortable, which further impacted the stay. While the property overall has many positive features, the economy room did not represent value for money at the price charged.

Great location. Clean and tidy room. Lots of facilities. Easy check in and check out.

The distance to the spa was a bit of a hike from our complex. Coffee machine didn't work properly. The selection of the food at the restaurant was limited.
