Stayed at Hyatt Regency Sydney and really enjoyed the experience. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job throughout. The location by Darling Harbour made it easy to walk everywhere, and the breakfast selection was solid. Service was warm and efficient, making the whole stay feel effortless.

4 men. We stayed two nights in 2 rooms. The room was clean and suitable for our needs. We did have a concern with the parking arrangements and cost. Which we recommend anyone considering to, if you have a car. We were told parking would be $57. Per night as per the hotel arrangement with the car park across the road. However when we went to validate our parking tickets for two cars the cost for each car was $57 for one night and $80 for the Thursday night. I mentioned to reception the difference from the what we were guaranteed and what we were now being asked to pay. Nothing could be done. So we paid. Just keep this in mind if you are booking on line or through Hyatt World Club Membership.

very old property. Was very dissapointed and no very pleasant experience. Need old kettle, not that good teas. shower gel/body bath stunk. Couldn't use for shower or wash hands. Had to purchase my own since the hotel could not provide any other soap or gel. The premises need a big upgrade for sure. Felt like I was in a third word country.

We were well met by the doorman who took us directly to a receptionist, friendly and efficient, however, I realized that the offer to upgrade was actually an upsell to a better room. Perhaps we should have taken up the upsell, as out of 800+ rooms we were allocated a room on the second floor with a floor to ceiling window that had a view of the roof over another part of the building. Also, the room was adjacent to the lifts (6) area and we could hear the comings and goings of other guests into the wee small hours. A disappointing stay especially considering the fact that other rooms were available.

This is now my favorite Sydney hotel. Location is fantastic, we had the view overlooking Darling Harbour, just wow!! The hotel gave us early checkin which was a bonus to drop off your bags. Room service was very quick and food was to rave about. Had the buffet breakfast twice and that filled us up for the day (cost $48 AUD pp). Ice and filtered water on each floor. Went to the bar and had a real mixture with my drinks order, barman did a great job which even included a rather yummy sweet Chai. Aussie house chadonay was absolutely delightful, grabbed 2 glasses! Rooms are a good size, shower is powerful and the room extremely clean. 10/10, can't fault this hotel.

From arrival to departure, the staff was so very friendly and helpful. The amenities were fresh and clean, our room with a balcony facing the harbour was fabulous. We will continue to return to Hyatt Regency for our weekend’s away from home. Highly Recommended!
