Stayed at Hyatt Regency Sydney and really enjoyed the experience. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job throughout. Hotel reception and Concierge was AMAZING!! Worst $42 breakfast I've ever had. Coffee arrived cold, no milk despite asking for it on the side. Many food items were no longer available. They ran out of toasted muesli. Stuff that comes out of a packet? The omelette was excellent when it came but no bread or toast to eat it with. I ended up eating it with a croissant. Very disappointing from a chain, I stay with regularly. Disappointed was an understatement.

However: - initially we were provided a room that looked out to a brick wall, when a room with a water view was paid for. - phone in the room didn’t work so couldn’t order room service - QRL code for room service didn’t work. - TV was glitchy - no coffee pods or coffee machine were available - no draws to put clothes That said, great location, staff lovely, bed super comfortable, room clean and modern.

My elderly mother and myself stayed 2 nights and the room was tiny, there wasn't a lounge chair for my mother to sit on,also my mother was in a wheelchair, and elderly only a dining chair!! Also when returning to room each night after seeing vivid show, there was terrible reception on the television, and mother couldn't watch anything, it was that bad! I paid a lot for the stay and was very disappointed, also for that price they didn't even include breakfast! We were very disappointed, considering what I paid!!

Check in was great - request for early check-in was granted. Having two choices fro breakfast was ideal as I do not eat a big breakfast and the lobby bar choices were ideal. Loved the Zephyer bar. All staff were very well presented
