Homewood Suites by Hilton Waterloo/St. Jacobs

Room was clean, however very smelly from previous guest cooking. Requested air freshener at front desk. Was told that either housekeeping would check it or we would be moved to a different room. Neither one if those happened. Won't stay again due to all rooms have full kitchen. Too navy lingering odors.

We booked the 2 bedroom suite for 4 adults for last week of July 2026. The bedroom areas were spacious, however the common area only had a small loveseats and 2 dinning chairs. Additional comfortable seating in the living room space would have made our stay more comfortable and there was definitely room for a few chairs like a wing back style. The dining table was just a tiny table so we ate outside which is fine for summer if there is room on the patio, but for winter stays it is cramped. The pool was also not available so we had to go next door which was fine. The breakfast buffet was very good and they had gluten free options but you had to ask for it. They also had a complimentary light dinner on Wednesday from 5 to 7pm which was appreciated. Our maid was awesome and front desk staff very helpful. Overall we had a good stay and the proximity to the St. Jacob's market was perfect.

Clean and well kept rooms, will definitely stay again. Only comment is the top sheet was hidden and therefore was not used by myself and other friends who stayed.

The room was a decent size and clean but I had a variety of issues: - The air conditioning was very weak yet very loud and didn't provided effective cooling at night. - The water tasted awful but I was thankful that there was spring water in the gym. - Could use a water softener for the shower - the pool was closed - the free breakfast was fine but there was a lot of waste caused by paper plates and plastic cups

The check in gentlemen was super welcoming, friendly and most of all, cheerful. Easy peasy process. They provided a crib as requested and the space was definitely big enough for all four of us. The issues I had with our room was it was pretty obvious the sheets and shower curtain were not changed from previous guest.

Everything about our stay was excellent . The manager's hospitality hour at 5pm was something we were not expecting, but was great with soup and salad and cheese and fruit trays. It made a perfect light dinner. Thanks very much. I Know we will stay again when we are back this way.

Very large rooms, comfortable rooms. Perfect for our one-night stay. Check in was easy and friendly.

Great place to stay, had a studio suite, very large room with full kitchen and large bathroom. Across from the st Jacobs market. Would stay here again.

Beautiful room. Clean. Quick check in. Spacious. Lovely breakfast. Too many kids to be able to use the pool.

Absolute best place to stay at St. Jacobs. A home away from home, the two bedroom suites are great! The complimentary breakfast has such awesome variety to kickstart your day. Staff are amazing. Highly recommend staying at Homewood Suites St. Jacobs

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The staff were very friendly, the room was clean, the complimentary wifi was good, the cleaning staff always did a great job. The breakfast was really good, and I noticed the staff were on top of the food to make sure nothing ran out. Thanks for a great stay :)
