Le Chabrol Hotel & Suites

Place was clean and the room was nice. I thought I had upgraded the room when I reserved but they said I didn’t. They then put me in a 75 degree room with no A/C. I complained and they said just give it time, but it never got below 75. The next day they switched me to the room that I had originally reserved. Other than the A/C problem and the room misunderstanding, the place was nice and the staff were helpful.

Stayed one night for layover enroute to Europe. Stay was ok but not having a lift made it difficult for accessibility.

J’ai bien apprécié mon séjour à Le Chabrol Hotel & Suites. L’emplacement est pratique, tout près de l’autoroute, et l’endroit est calme, ce qui est parfait pour une pause sur un long trajet. Évidemment, ce n’est pas un hôtel 5 étoiles, mais pour un court arrêt de voyage, c’est un très bon choix. Le petit déjeuner inclus est aussi un bel avantage. Honnêtement, j’y retournerais sans hésiter.

Booked for 3 people but once we got there hotel staff wanted to charge extra for a 3rd person, before saying we couldn’t be more than 2 in a room at all times, even for guests just visiting and not staying over. Had to show them the booking, and was told it was “fine”, but other staff members might argue, to show them the booking and hope. The sofa bed had a basic lining on it, no pillows nor covers or anything. There was a shrink-wrapped package on the desk, which was essentially a basic cover in paper that was unusable, had to split pillows and covers from main bed so third person could sleep.

A bit further than we wanted to stay but it was a crazy weekend in Montreal. It is right in the bus/metro line and that was great because driving in the city is not easy and parking is even worse. So that’s a 5on a scale right there. Not the greatest part of town but I didn’t ever feel unsafe. Hotel was clean and beds were very comfortable but it was dated and rooms need better lighting. Parking was a huge plus

First time staying here. It's roughly 8 km from downtown (old port), but factor in traffic and it takes about 30 minutes to get there (depending on the day/time, of course). The property itself gives off motel vibes. Hallways smelled as they do have some smoking rooms on site. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room (131 - Executive Suite, 1 Queen Bed, Hot Tub) was clean and relatively modern. Rain shower head wasn't in the best shape. Parking and Breakfast (7am-10am) was included. Super C grocery store located across the road and a Tim Horton's is just down the street. Not a bad experience, but considering what we paid won't be staying here again as it is worth paying a premium to stay closer to the downtown core.

Stayed two nights. Nice newly renovated comfortable room. Turned TV on but would not stay on for every 10 - 15 seconds. The room was not maintained. Everything was as we left it, no bed made no supplies repleniished, no cleaning. We had to request the breakfast supplies be replenished on the first morning and gave up on the second going out for breakfast at a restaurant instead.

Ok for overnight…..room smell smoking , old rooms only thing nice was new bathtub. Breakfast was horrible out of everything… would not stay there afain.

This is the first hotel I have stayed at where there were holes in the towels. I thought maybe it was a one off, but the next day new towels were supplied and they had holes as well. I wouldn't classify this as a three star hotel, but more of a one/two star. Most likely will never stay again.

This Hotel should be leveled and rebuilt. The photos of the rooms must be from 20 years ago. I wouldn't sleep in that bedfor my life. Torn up couch. Had to dive and find another hotel after a full day's travel. This hotel has seen better days. Don't waste your time and money here.

Security was bad. I had a stranger locked at my door and the staff said they kicked him out. Carpet was dirty. Bed sheets was old and poor quality.

Need to update TV.tv is very old.need update to Air Condition System

Great location . Close to Playground and downtown . Large rooms and bathrooms . Very nice people also .

Shower in bathroom leaked on to floor. No complimentary television service, just a blank screen.

Great experience overall, just like last time.
