Spacious and comfortable room, beautiful hotel, and great location for transportation and sites (about 15 mins walk to Forbidden City). Take airport train and transfer to line 5 (Dengshikou station, exit C, make sharp left and it's the back of the hotel). The only small issue is the slight smell of smoking in the hallway, slight but definitely a smell. Thankfully, it doesn't reach into the room. Overall, a lovely and high range hotel in Beijing.

We had a fantastic stay at the Regent Beijing. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, and impeccably clean, with a luxurious atmosphere throughout. The staff were exceptionally attentive and went above and beyond by decorating our room for a special occasion, which made our stay even more memorable. We truly appreciated the thoughtful service and would happily stay here again.

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are amazing. Unfortunately for us, the non-smoking floor had someone smoking all the days we were there. My room smelled like cigarettes because the hallway was a smoky mess. We talked to the front desk but the problem was not able to be resolved. It would have been one of our favorite places if it wasn’t the very intense cigarette smell. I had to spra perfume and try to sleep and still woke up. My son had an asthma attack during our stay and needed his inhaler.

We had an incredible experience and thanks mostly to our amazing concierge Yina. Yina - you are the best concierge we have ever had. She made arrangements for ALL our sightseeing and we loved it totally. Given we were strict vegetarians, Yina with the help of Angel ( duty manager ) and Cindy ( Front office lady ), arranged breakfast for us to go at no cost and we were able to take fruits, yogurt and bread to consume later for lunch which was invaluable to us. In addition, she found pure vegetarian restaurants for us to enjoy. Love you Yina always for making our stay incredible. Special thanks to Andy for driving us around and being our guide. Regent is now part of my family thanks to Yina and others.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The location was ideal, the property was both beautiful and clean, the staff was friendly. The pool and sauna facility was fabulous. The spa was also fantastic!

The hotel is beautiful, and we booked a room with Executive Lounge access. While the property looks luxurious, the overall experience didn’t quite meet the standards I expect from an international luxury hotel. The staff were polite but not particularly warm or welcoming compared to other luxury hotels. The gym is fairly basic, and the swimming pool gets very crowded. Despite the high number of guests, there are only three shower rooms, which feels inadequate for the facility’s capacity. I was also disappointed that the lobby bar only allows guests to sit if they purchase something. Another letdown was that the beautiful lobby piano is off-limits to guests, even for experienced pianists. Overall, the hotel has the appearance of an international luxury property, but the service culture and guest experience feel more local than international.

The choice of breakfast is excellent. As we are vegetarian they have good range of breads, fruits and salad for us. The staff was very helpful and rooms were cleaned spotless.

We stayed in a king suite with club room. The room was very spacious and clean and extremely comfortable. There is a lot of space in the wardrobe. The housekeeping staff even left us a small clothes line when they noticed we had tried to hand wash some clothing. All the staff were so accomodating and friendly. The breakfast in the club lounge and in the main restaurant was delicious. I really liked how in the club lounge there was an à la carte menu. The location is perfect with a nice Peking duck restaurant called da dong 200m away, many shops and food courts and cool bars. We will definitely come back! Our experience was 10/10.

I had a great time staying at the Regent Beijing. The staff were wonderful and making sure everything was perfect. The hotel location is just next to Dengshikou station and being able to just walk over to Wangfujing was incredibly convenient. Highly recommend it if you want a hassle-free trip!

The staff were all really helpful and worked hard to ensure everything was perfect for us. The hotel and it’s facilities were excellent. Breakfast had such a large choice it was more like breakfast and lunch together. The hotel is joined to a subway entrance which was really convenient. Also, the hotel was close to the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and various shopping malls. Beijing is excellent. The city is really clean and safe. Be prepared to walk a lot and don’t forget your passport!

Classic five-star hotel with great staff service and excellent room furnishings. However, having stayed at many other hotels in China, there were a few disappointing points regarding some essential complimentary services that many modern China hotels now commonly offer. Firstly, there were no washing machines, dryers, or complimentary laundry services available. Secondly, the hotel does not use delivery robots, meaning all takeaway orders must be collected personally from outside the hotel entrance. Thirdly, during our 4 days and 3 nights stay, the staff informed us that the complimentary soft drinks in the minibar (such as Coke) were only free for the first round for the entire stay, rather than replenished daily. Fourthly, we chose an upgraded room facing the Forbidden City (故宫), which we were really looking forward to. Unfortunately, the actual view was very distant and quite small, while the room itself also felt relatively compact considering the price paid. Overall, it is still a good, classic five-star hotel with professional staff and quality furnishings. However, for the price paid, the overall complimentary service felt rather stingy compared with many other luxury hotels in China today. The management style feels quite traditional and not fully aligned with the newer service standards many modern China hotels now provide, so we probably would not choose to stay again.

We visited the hotel during a busy period and getting in required going through security. It was a fairly quick process however. We also had an issue with housekeeping not doing a great job making up our room. The bed would be lumpy and on one occasion it was made over a bathrobe instead of moving the bathrobe to make the bed. I told Tom the front desk staff and they were great. They really tried to rectify the situation and make sure we were happy/comfortable even though it really wasn’t their fault.
