The Westin Shenzhen Nanshan

Staff were helpful and friendly. Location is convenient. But some areas need improvement. Although I asked for a non smoking room, the whole corridor smelt of smoke and so did the room. I was also a little disappointed that my request for high floor with a view was not met. In terms of the common facilities, the toilet on ground floor smelt like a public toilet even though key access was required. There was also no one to help open the door when you have luggages to carry as you enter the lobby.

Got upgrade to executive corner room, free access to the executive lounge, nice hotel staffs, Holiday Plaza shopping mall next doors to the hotel.

All was perfect

My original room was actually leaking water from the ceiling, but the front desk was very accommodating in helping me switch rooms. The rooms here are nice and spacious! The wooden appearance and green color scheme gives off soothing, nature vibes. The staff is decent; they open the front door for you and serve cart snacks on the lobby floor. The convenience of this hotel is easily the best aspect though, as it connects to a decent shopping mall with many food options.

They thoughtfully arranged two rooms with views of “Windows of the World,” which was perfect for me and my kids. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of food that we really enjoyed. The only downside was the air conditioning—our room had a lingering smell of smoke. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and we would definitely come back.

We came from the United States to visit the family in Shenzhen, and staying in this hotel. We had a great time and enjoyed the time very much. The hosts were very warm & friendly. Breakfast is best. Absolutely wonderful place. High recommended.
