Doric Hotel

All well

Room was clean and quite spacious with a shower only but as I have stayed in the hotel before I know there are rooms with a bath/shower. Friendly staff too

The room was lovely but the bathroom floor was the disappointment. It was dirty and needed a sweep and clean

Staff very friendly , as a older couple i would probably stay outside school holidays. Their was an issue with the shower so we were asked to move to another room , however the room had no heating and very cold and was very dusty. However we were given an all inclusive card for free drinks. Which was nice but would have prefered a warm clean room. As previous visit. All in all it hasnt detered us as we plan on visiting again.very friendly atmosphere , food excellant and entertainment very good. Would recomend .

Entertainment has gone way downhill since my last stay. Room very dated. Clean enough though. Overall good stay but sort out the entertainment

We had a lovely stay our room was dated but clean.The main areas have been modernised .There was limited seating in the bar area and if you had a seat near the door it was freezing .Food was lovely and the staff .louise was a credit in the restruant.There were alot of children there as football tournament and they were running up and down stairs and messing in the lift which isnt the hotels fault.We would return.

Room was clean but bed is not comfortable and covers could of been bigger and better also pillows not comfortable. Breakfast was ok but would like to get breakfast myself and have more continental cake pan cakes etc for child. Think doors need to be changed as u come in as kept banging and dont help with son ats autism. Stuff was very helpful and prices was not to bad

I have just returned from a 2 day atay and found this so nice, rooms lovely and clean, ours was very spacious, enjoyed everything about this hotel, breackfast was good, entertainment good and the entertainment for children was from 8pm till 10pm and was excellent ,my grandchildren age 7 and 9 loved it , would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel

Clean room small double bed we asked the cleaner on day 2 to call back in half an hour while we went for breakfast but they never came back Shout out to Jessica the waitress for being so attentive and pleasant also too jj and Sam behind the bar

Rooms were clean and fresh bedding. I think that the property is being update starting from the ground floor working their way up. As different parts of the hotel have been updated

Clean room. Freindly staff. Great value. Indoor pool great for kids but only 3ft deep so not suitable for swimming.

The hotel and staff were great however dispite signage there was a child approx 3yrs playing in the lifts riding between floors preventing those that needed to us it from doing so we also noticed on more than one occassion it smelt of weed and we did inform reception. Also childrens club was taken over on several evenings by adults especially where shots were given to adults for children winning games., and bullying other children when their child didnt win. Wednesday entertainer threw sweets on the floor and childrens were scrambling like animals trying to get them.Also seemed to be a lack of parental control and at times adults using bad language clearly heard by young children. Also on thursday afternoon young boys playing with life saving equipment in the indoor pool with no adult supervision.

Staff was so friendly and helpful! The breakfast was lovely with again amazing service. The room, small but extremely cosy and equipped!

Breakast couln't be faulted. Bar was excellenr

This is my second stay at the hotel in the last 6 months . Very fresh food mostly homemade by the head chef 3 good choices of starters mains and puddings, breakfast section of cereals full English toast, tea and coffee selection of fruit, juices, fruits and yogurts. The dinning staff are fantastic Ian who assisted us was amazing, reception and bar staff friendly and helpful. The all inclusive is not the best selection of drinks but you do get 50% discount on all offered drinks until 22.00 . Food Menu, food can be ordered through out the day at a reasonable cost a selection of sandwiches can also be ordered. Sandwiches are included on the all-inclusive up till selected time. Evening entertainment really good. Two singers, two games of bingo. Indoor swimming pool for the kids to burn off energy. Even an outdoor pool for the warmer days. Bedrooms basic dangsters really smart and modern butchfield the corridors to the bedrooms could do with a facelift very 80s style and outdated marks and dents on doors etc stains on the carpets but cleaning stuff. Do an amazing job to try and keep everything tidy. Feel the hotel would benefit from a bit of a facelift in these areas to help freshen it up and make guests stay bit more pleasurable. Car parking is a nightmare very limited, recommend parking on the car park of the sports bar next door, there is a cost for this it's not expensive overall fantastics stay lovely hotel, looking forward to returning in the future.

Clean room and hotel. Lovely bar and entertainment. Receptionist very miserable. Wasn’t very welcoming when we checked in. Wasn’t very helpful when our shower didn’t work on the morning of check out. Only one pillow on each bed that we very flat.

Very good, clean and comfortable room with plenty of storage space and it had a very good TV. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Helpful members of staff. Convenient location, parking at the hotel was available and the tram stop is right outside the hotel.

The food was outstanding first time at doric they were so helpful our tv wasent working we were in a double room they moved us to a family suite we will be going back for sure everyhing you needed and more thank you doric we will be back
