Food excellent. Good choice for all meals . Not too many to choose from but tasty fresh food . Staff very friendly working really hard . Reception staff wonderful explained everything. Stayed all in-inclusive . Such good value extra touch was a bingo ticket and a tram travel token included too . The bar area restaurant and seating clean and modern . Stayed in a standard twin room very basic but clean . Room too hot tho, there was a fan which helped a tad . Outdoor heated pool with sun loungers really good . Indoor pool , jacuzzi heated good too . There was a steam room and sauna which we used needs updating and a good clean to be honest . Due to school holidays seemed busy . Evening entertainment pretty good . Trams running every 15 mins outside the hotel easy to jump on and jump off wherever you want to go . Overall a good value hotel and a great place to stay . Will comeback sometime in the future .

Room was perfect for myself and 6 year old grandson very clean and everything we needed , staff work very hard and are very friendly, we went half board and I can honestly say its the best food I've ever had in a hotel ! The only criticism I had was the cleanliness of the indoor pool ( didn't use outdoor was to busy ) the surrounding area around the pool was very dirty and pool floor seemed very slippy like there was some kind of film on it

Surprised at check in as we were booked into the annex. This was not made clear when book. Issue was my wife is disabled and was a bit of a walk and no lift. The girl on reception was quite sympathetic and did show us the room and also was going to check on other room availability. However, we were only staying the night so decided to stay in the annex. The outdoor pool was right outside so very handy and we had a really good stay. Breakfast also needs a mention as it was excellent quality and portion size. Very happy to book another stay there in the future.

Room was decent and clean. Only negative we found was the bed was very uncomfortable. You could feel every spring in the bed. You could hear every movment from the corridor. Drunk people at 2 am shouting in the corridor to. The cooked breakfast was luke warm. Limited items included on the cooked breakfast. We was lucky that hash browns were served on that particular morning. Indoor pool is why we chose this hotel which was great. Staff were all friendly.

We stay at the Doric most summers. Pros from this year's stay: Our room was spacious (2x double beds) Outdoor heated pool Indoor pool (although quite strong chemical odour) Food was good, big improvement on last time we were half board. Kids entertainment generally (first few days with new pair of hosts very good, however nights 3 and 4 were catered only to older kids and host was unhelpful and rude which was disappointing). Staff were helpful. Cons: Rooms very hot. Room on first floor was noisy due to entertainment downstairs. Lift is almost impossibly small and therefore busy. Room cleanliness could be better but not terrible.

Great hotel I've stayed 100s of times over the years. My only criticism is I booked all inclusive because I was on a budget and they took 100 pound deposit from me I wasn't aware of upon booking. I left last Monday and it still hasn't hit my bank account yet

Das Hotel ist leider in die Jahre gekommen. Die Rezeption ist ansprechend und das gesamte Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten Halbpension und zum Abendessen gab es ein 3 Gänge Menü. Das Essen hat gut geschmeckt. Die Zimmer sind einfach eingerichtet. Das Stockbett im Familienzimmer war einfach nur ein Alurahmen und hat bei jeder Bewegung Geräusche gemacht. Die Pools sind relativ klein.

Great hotel , the all inclusive not really worth it , id advise the breakfast and dinner package for half the price . Was too far away from centre to come back for the light lunch, and the spirits were clearly watered down.

Hotel was clean, food was good. Staff were excellent. Rooms were ok but the beds were really uncomfortable. Spa and pool were good. Parking is a nightmare. Be careful driving into the parking lane, I damaged my car going through the entrance. Would definitely go back. Kids entertainment is 8 until 10 which I thought was a bit late for kids
