I am not certain how clean my sheet was, as it had things in it that made me uncomfortable. They did change it for me. The hotel is convenient, mediocre breakfast and no other dining, but the most important thing to know is that no windows open at all. They rely on in room heating and air conditioning. And the air con packed up during my last evening and night there. They did not have an emergency service plan. Someone brought me a fan, but honestly, if it had been just a bit warmer, I would have been in real trouble. As it was, I was keen to get outside in the morning.

Staff refused to let us store food temporarily or use the microwave, saying it was “for breakfast only.” The response was a scripted, corporate line rather than any kind of reasonable customer service. We were travelling with two children under five and simply needed to heat food for one minute in the evening... a very small, practical request that was refused on what seemed like an arbitrary rule. It wasn’t the rule itself so much as the complete lack of flexibility or common sense. Good hospitality is about helping guests, especially families, not hiding behind rigid policies for situations that would take literally one minute to accommodate. The experience left us feeling unwelcome and poorly treated.

Room was clean enough, small bathroom but fine for one night. Surprisingly quiet given the location and it being a Saturday, but I think this was due to being in a room that didn't overlook the road. Didn't opt for breakfast as felt the price was a bit much given the photos don't show a great deal of choice. Don't know that I'd want to stay more than a couple of nights as the room/bathroom was quite small, but it was fine for the night. Shampoo, conditioner, hand soap etc all supplied. Staff were very friendly on arrival. Only thing I'd have liked was to have a liner in the general waste side of the bin.
