Grand Hotel Blackpool

Extra for parking. Partial sea view room, obscured by a window that needed a good clean. Creaky mattress which could do with replacing. Room itself good. Only overnight stay, didn't eat or check out the restaurant. Price of breakfast was a bit steep so ate elsewhere. Receptionist helpful and friendly.

Think there could probably be worse but it wasn’t clean. They rooms were marked and dirty with cracked tiles. The bed collapsed when my daughter got in it. You couldn’t see through the windows they were that dirty. The tap was broken and had no handle. There were dirty plates and dishes which remained out side of our room for th duration of our stay. They weren’t ours. The breakfast took ages with a queue and people waiting round for all the food to be replenished. The only good thing was the last who checked us in and the guest singer there was in one night. We won’t be returning!

I checked into this hotel and was initially given a room that looked nothing like the photos advertised. The bed was also very uncomfortable. After raising the issue, the hotel changed my room, and the replacement was a noticeable improvement. Unfortunately, the biggest issue occurred on the day of checkout. Despite having a confirmed late checkout until 12:00 pm, housekeeping entered the room at around 9:00 am while we were asleep. Then, at approximately 10:45 am, the manager walked into the room and told us we needed to leave. When I went downstairs to explain that we had a late checkout, the manager began raising her voice before eventually realising that the late checkout had indeed been approved. What was most disappointing was that the general manager did nothing to address the situation or apologise for the disruption. While I appreciated that the room was changed after my initial complaint, the lack of professionalism and respect for guest privacy on checkout day left a very negative impression.

There's a designated smoking area with sign outside shelter of front of the reception door. Parking is the 2nd entrance following signs of The Grand hotel. Food is bland and outside windows needs cleaning. Expect que on busy time upon check in 3pm.

Lovely staff great room lovely large double bed great food nothing was to much trouble my son didn't want to leave we really enjoyed our stay at grand hotel thank you guys

The name Grand does not really match the actual hotel, bit dated, however our room was amazing and huge with a sea view so can’t complain! One of the drawers in the bedroom did have someone’s clothes left there and everywhere needed a good dust though … Reception and bar staff didn’t seem to like their jobs very much. Breakfast was nice however lack of tables meant it was tricky to find seats. For the price we paid it was fine, but probably won’t go back here in a hurry

The room were not clean, you could see the dust and crumbs and they couldn’t do any clean for the duration of my 3night stay

There was a large group of us who stayed in the twin bedded family room. The mattresses were very uncomfortable unfortunately which caused us not to have a good nights rest. There was also a lot of corridor noise, people talking and doors slamming which I understand is not entirely the hotels fault but still caused a lot of disruption. Other than this the stay was great, staff were very helpful and rooms were clean. Thank you!!

One of the better hotels in Blackpool that's not run down, still a few tcl here and there otherwise great hotel and staff are friendly and helpful, should be a note on here regarding small payments for health facilities other fantastic, didn't try restaurant so don't know about that other great, would stay here again. Cheap parking as hotel does discount.

Breakfast was good staff were really helpful. Claire was lovely couldnt do enough. Rooms were too hot. Ventillation was poor. Room needed a good clean. Cups didnt look like they had been properly washed. Parking is £7 per day. A bit steep
