All was excellent our initial room had a shower area that didn’t drain so we were moved to another room straight away which was an actual upgrade and lovely and provided with a complimentary drink

Check in was smooth. Nicolas upgraded both of our rooms and provided a glass of Prosecco on arrival. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and we ended up taking breakfast the next morning, which was buffet style, but hot and tasty. The only thing that stopped us giving 5 stars is that we could hear the street below at times

If you're driving make sure you read the car park instructions and take Google maps to the nearby multi storey. Driving to this hotel is impossible. So many roads shut to cars. We went around in circles for half an hour, and Google was not accurate for the hotel.

The plug in the sink in our bathroom could not be fixed as reception called us at 10pm asking if we wanted to swap rooms! We were in bed! And no hot water the next morning throughout the whole hotel

I booked a room for myself for a weekend - and it was a good thing it was only for one person because it was like climbing into a cupboard. I could literally stretch my arms from one side of the room to the other. I guess that’s what you get from booking a city centre room. It wasn’t cheap enough to justify the size however.

The staff were lovely. The breakfast was tasty.
However, the shower was rubbish. At max temperature (and yes I pushed the button and twisted the right way) it was barely luke warm and not a lot of pressure. I stayed for two nights and the shower was equally cool both mornings.
I could also hear the person next doors phone vibrating and them snoring!
Not ideal as it is extremely convenient for work so I would like to stay again. I hope I just got unlucky with the shower in that particular room.
