The breakfast in my opinion was not the best. There were no fried eggs. There was streaky bacon ( no back bacon). The pastries were very good.

Room had a vaguely familiar musty smell and the window was open. I took a shower and then realised that the entire carpet was soaking wet, hence the smell. The carpet has obviously been washed (badly) and the window left open on an attempt to dry it. Couldn't be bothered arguing about it so I just left and stayed somewhere else.

The first room we were given smelt terrible, largely because of the stains on the carpet where someone had been sick. Second room was slightly better but still had a strange smell from the dirty carpet. Room was incredibly dull and depressing, very outdated with a cheap plastic shower pod, faded furniture, peeling laminate and limited facilities. The only good points about the stay were the central location and a good breakfast. Not cheap and not cheerful.

Hotel was a bit shabby, bathroom not the cleanest especially around mould in shower area. Breakfast was poor. Would not plan to stay there again at £136 per night.

Very noisy residents at 3.30 am then a set of ladies returned at 4.30 and they was even louder, Couldn’t get back to sleep after that. Receptionn staff was very good.
