The lobby area is nice with table football for the kids (although some of the handles kept falling off which made it challenging to play!). Staff were helpful at check in but later we had a problem in the TV in the room and phoned reception who said they’d come in 10 minutes. It was evening, and we had the kids in their pyjamas ready to watch a film and have a big treat. An hour later no one had come and we couldn’t get through to them on the phone. I then had to get dressed out of my pyjamas to go down to reception in person to ask for help again. When someone did eventually come he was very apologetic for the delay and the TV issue turned out to be an issue with my phone, however the huge delay meant we’d had an hour of the kids being bored, us feeling stuck and the kids having a much later night than we’d have liked. It ruined what was supposed to be a nice night. The room was clean but very soulless and not as premium as the rest of the hotel felt.

Cute room with great amenities. Great gym and sauna. Good location. Monotone non-smiling receptionist on arrival delivering script. Used contact lenses stuck to back of Door in room: a smiling receptionist hopefully dealt with that and arranged for housekeeping to clean them off.

Good breakfast and location. Though was given a room right on the eye level of the metro. They have an open toilet design and shower without curtains. So you are giving a show to the people in Manchester LoL NO privacy at all. Would not recommend you sharing a room with someone you are not that close or your parents. On top of that, the board and the surface is dusty, triggering both me and my partners allergy. The air con is weak and the extraction fan doesn’t work so the room is moist and stinky. No tooth brush available and no tooth paste provided. You have to buy from the front desk. So be prepared.
