Perfect spot exploring Cologne. Just a few hundred yards from Cologne HbF station. Comfy and clean room with a lovely cafe attached that does a great breakfast and food and drinks throughout the day. Staff were all lovely as well. Highly recommended.

Great hotel in a very convenient location, right in the heart of Cologne’s Old Town and close to Cologne Cathedral and the main train station. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The hotel has a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff were polite. A very good choice for a stay in Cologne.

Superbe hôtel. Excellent petit déjeuner. Personnel poli et serviable. Situé à distance de marche des transports, restos et petits club. Simple but effective hotel. Clean rooms and nice front desk staff. The breakfast was good and had an array of hot and cold items. Good central location. No wow factor but nothing to complain about.

Overall a very good hotel positioned in the Alter Markt. I overlooked the main square and the sound proofing was very good. I'd still advise earplugs though to prevent being disturbed by any late night noise from pub-goers. The hotel staff were very helpful and the housekeeping was good too. All very clean in the rooms. Bed and pillows were both very comfy and the bathroom was a good standard too. A couple of cons though: I travelled in May and couldn't set the air-con lower than 25(!), so turned it off and left the windows open all day. That's no good for nighttime though, so the room did get hot and stuffy. The rooms are very small with little room either side of the bed. Fine for a couple of nights but would feel claustrophobic if staying any longer.

Very central for sightseeing. Room clean and tidy and good facilities. The breakfast had a good selection of cold items and the standard bacon and eggs for the hot, all the items were fresh and the hot food was actually hot not always the case.
