Hotel was new. Design was well done. Marble and tile. Be prepared had different levels. Steps to lobby, steps to room. Did have ramps a bit steep on staiirs. Shower had no grab bars in a big open area. Staff was kind, helpful and an absolute delight. Food was excellent. .

Our stay at Alaya Resort Ubud was perfect. The staff is warm and attentive. The food for breakfast was fresh and there were so many options both from the buffet and from the a la carte menu. Our room was immaculate and the ac kept us nice and cool. The pools were great and we also used the spa which was delightful. If you're looking to stay in Ubud you should definitely stay at Alaya Resort Ubud.

Alaya resort in Ubud is an excellent 5 star resort in the center of town. big clean rooms,nice pools,excellent breakfast and top notch services. Only complaint is check out was long and the young lady did not follow the queu formed in helping the process leaving us frustrated.

Lovely hotel in a great location of Ubud - we also did the free rice scrub making class which was fab! Great selection at breakfast as you can pick from both the buffet and the à la carte menu. The attention to detail was great - they checked the room before we left and managed to find a charger we had left. The staff are so friendly and welcoming - would definitely recommend!

The breakfast selection is excellent. We stayed a few days at Alaya Resort. We appreciate that the hotel breakfast main course varies each day. The hotel staffs also accomodate the boxed breakfast which is very helpful for us as we had early morning departure on some days for our sightseeing tour.

We had a wonderful 7-day stay at Alaya! The staff was amazing- always ready to help make our stay comfortable. Housekeeping was done twice a day. Breakfast was excellent and included both a buffet and a menu to order from. They customized many options for us to vegetarian versions. The hotel also arranged day trips for us with a personal driver for sightseeing. Yoga Barn was nextdoor so it was an easy walk back after an evening class. There were many restaurants for dinner options within walking distance. I would highly recommend Alaya to anyone visiting Ubud.

Everything was near perfect. Except the toilet had a very bad odour. The hotel tried their best to appease my wife and me. On the last night offered to upgrade is to a suite - unfortunately it was too late. They should have dinner so at the time of our check-in when I requested an upgrade as part of our VIP package entitlement! According to them "the hotel is full". I wonder how the suite was available? But I must add that the staff were very good, extremely polite and helpful.

Alaya is conveniently located in downtown Ubud, close to many great restaurants, Monkey Forest, Coco Market, and Yoga Barn, and within walking distance of Ubud Palace. The resort also offers plenty of amenities. The staff are always ready to help, and the room is very comfortable and well-appointed. I’m very happy with my choice of Alaya Resort Ubud!
