Rama Hotel

Strategic location, close to the airport, but the room was very smelly and very uncomfortable. Hopefully, it can be improved in the future.

Overall, the service was okay and the room was very clean. However, the flush for the toilet in the room I occupied was a bit difficult. There is no restaurant, so breakfast was delivered to the room. Perhaps the breakfast could be more varied. The distance to the airport is quite close.

The hotel staff was too slow, the room AC was not cold, the room smelled of cigarette smoke.

The location is strategic, if you are hungry there are places to eat on the left and right of the hotel, but the comfort of the room is not very comfortable because the AC is not cold, hopefully in the future it can be improved.

I planned to land at MKW at 8:00 AM on November 21, 2025 and intentionally booked on November 20-21, 2025 with the hope that upon landing I could immediately rest while waiting for check-in time at another hotel. But upon arriving at the hotel, the receptionist said the room was full! And instead blamed Traveloka because they said the voucher went to Jakarta. The staff said they did not accept vouchers from Traveloka. During my time working at the hotel, all vouchers that came into the hotel were kept until the check-out deadline instead of selling them to others. I think my room was sold to someone else and I had no choice but to be relocated to another hotel. I apologize to the hotel management, if they are not ready to use OTA, it would be better not to use it. Hopefully the staff are trained well.. the way to handle guest complaints is very bad! and instead blame the guests. I was relocated to one of the hotels that is still in the same group as Rama Hotel but the hotel is in an alley! The reason I chose this Rama Hotel was because it was on the main road, not in an alley, but instead I was relocated to a hotel in an alley. And the breakfast provided was only 1 piece of bread and 1 cup of hot tea per person. If the breakfast is only bread, please write it down! For that price, it's really not worth it. I asked to speak to the MOD but he said he wasn't there, I was given the manager's contact but I didn't pick up my call. I didn't want to write a complaint here, but because I couldn't speak to the hotel management and the manager didn't pick up my call, that's why I'm writing it here. I hope other guests don't have this terrible experience. It's better to just look for another hotel if there are other options.

The hotel is good for mid-range travelers. The room and bathroom are clean, but unfortunately, the shower doesn't have hot water.

5 days of staying here, I had the experience of meeting 2 cockroaches. Immediately crushed with shoes. The paint on the wall above the bedroom window was stained and dirty. The receptionist was not friendly. Apart from that, everything was good.

Clean, there is hot water, the TV is small = computer monitor. The receptionist was not friendly.

For a transit hotel, it's not bad, because it's close to the airport. Unfortunately, the staff is still lacking in service standards to guests. There's no hot water in the bathroom, the TV channels are all showing ants, the toilet is really slow to come down, the AC isn't too cold either.

The pictures of the hotel showed food photographs which to me implied. They had a restaurant but they did not have a restaurant. Also the whole hotel and especially my room felt incredibly dark because the external window had been covered up with film and didn't let any light in. I forfeited my weeklong booking after only one evening in the hotel.

The rooms are clean, the toilets are clean, no regrets buying here.
