Hilton Rome Airport

All good except the €75 initially charged to credit card at check in was never removed and glossed over at checkout- my fault for not being aware and questioning. Food and room service was very good.

Rooms and hallways smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. It took 45 minutes just to check in. This was our third year in a row staying here for a connection flight. The first stay was fine, the second was disappointing, and we decided to give it one last chance. Unfortunately, this stay was even worse. The convenience of the location isn’t worth the poor service, long check-in, and overall hassle, even for a one-night layover. We won’t be staying here again.

Dear Hotels.com, I am writing to make a formal complaint regarding our stay at the Hilton Rome Airport and to request a full refund. From the moment we checked into our room, it was unbearably hot. We contacted reception several times and were repeatedly told that the air conditioning would "kick in after 15 minutes." We waited well over an hour, but there was no improvement. I then went to reception in person to explain that the room was still extremely hot. Once again, I was told to wait. We then went to the Vatican for a few hours, hoping the issue would have resolved itself by the time we returned, but the room was still roasting. We contacted reception again and specifically requested that someone come to the room to inspect the air conditioning. We were assured that someone would come, but nobody ever arrived. I then went back to reception and was again promised that someone would come to our room. Once again, nobody did. Later that evening, I tried calling reception again, but the phone simply played music as though the calls were being diverted, so we were unable to get any further assistance. As a result, we spent the entire night tossing and turning because the room was unbearably hot and got very little sleep. We booked this hotel expecting a comfortable night's rest before continuing our journey, but instead had one of the worst nights we have ever experienced in a hotel. The following morning, I spoke to the receptionist who had checked us in. She advised that sh

The restaurant messed up our check by undercharging us and made us come back and pay the difference even after we had tipped them which is not the usual custom (so they could have put the tip toward their error). We saw a large roach in the lobby on our way to check out. The hotel is convenient to the airport but the restaurant could be better run.

A great option super close to the airport. Friendly staff and room was very clean. Buffet breakfast was worthwhile also!

We had an early flight in the morning, and after spending 4 weeks in Italy did not want to rush around to get to the airport. Booking a room at the Hilton was a perfect solution. We enjoyed our last day visiting Orvieto and got to the hotel around 6. We hung out in the lounge, having drinks and playing cards, while the Wimbledon women's final aired. Our room was spacious and spotless. The staff is very pleasant--all with smiles and eager to help. Not to mention, in the morning, getting to our gate was an absolute breeze. For a stress-free end to your vacation in Italy, I highly recommend the Hilton Fiumicino hotel.

Being so close to the airport was very convenient. Dinner was nice & the breakfast was good too.

It is a long walk from The airport to the property so just be prepared.

Great place to stay.

This classic airport hotel stands out for its unbeatable convenience. Check-in and check-out are smooth, and you can walk directly to the terminals and departure gates—no shuttles needed. There’s an on-site restaurant and all the essentials for a comfortable overnight stay. I didn’t explore the area, but there appear to be nearby walking trails and bike paths. It’s not flashy, not much character , but it delivers exactly what you expect from an airport hotel, with an excellent location. I would definitely stay here again if I needed a night near Rome’s airport. Highly recommended for its convenience.

Very close to the airport, attached via moving sidewalk. Excellent service and rooms very very clean and comfortable! Would definitely recommend and stay again!

We were amazed by the breakfast buffet. It was better than many buffets I’ve paid a lot of money for in the United States. Our room was nice and the bed was comfy.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, steps to the Duomo and shopping. The room was beautiful and modern and actually spacious and had a fantastic bathroom and very comfortable bed and I would highly recommend.

Front desk tried to overcharge us for hotel parking: restaurant asked us to clear off our dinner table because they had to get ready for breakfast the next day: there are no vents in the bathroom in the rooms so the whole bathroom floors were always wet; the front desk staff were not interested in solving problems only kept repeating unhelpful statements: the only advantage was there was a concourse from the hotel directly into the airport.

Easy to get to

It is a Hilton and lives up to the name.

This place was a lifesaver for us! The proximity to the airport was unbelievable. I was actually able to sleep the night before the flight!
