Century Southern Tower has been our go to Hotel for a number of years now. It is centrally located with Shinjuku station right there, as well as a number of department stores with great dining. It also has a number of more casual options nearby. It has a nice breakfast buffet, and a sushi restaurant one floor below as well as a lounge. We have only had the breakfast buffet but it was excellent. It is located in the more quiet side of Shinjuku and Shinjuku station, it is good if you want respite from the constant action of much of Shinjuku. The room size is adequate, small for the west but large compared to many other hotels. The only issue if you can call it that is there is no launderette in the hotel. They do have a laundry service, but if you want to do it yourself you need to walk approx. 15 minutes to get to one. It's never been an issue for us, the walk is very pleasant in a very peaceful neighborhood. I would highly recommend this hotel for families and anyone who wants convenience, but also wants a place that is a little less hectic than other similar areas in Shinjuku.

Extremely well located. There is no gym on site and although there is access to an offsite gym, it is 3500 yen. For us, the room was damp for our whole stay. The room is due for some updating. The views are great. The bed is firm. The tv isn’t a smart tv. Room was quiet. Service was great.

Location is perfect for getting around, close to shops, restaurants and most important train system. Was disappointed with lack of space in the room, with king bed we found there was no starge space for clothes so had to leave everything in suitcases for weeks stay, wish TV had some more channels or a smart tv so if you wanted to unwind and just relax in front of the tv before bed you couldn't do so.

This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are comfortable and very spacious. The breakfast was the highlight of our morning. The buffet was excellent and catered to Westerners. Every morning we sat and had fresh fruit and coffee while looking out an amazing view. The location of the hotel is perfect too. I would highly recommend staying here while in Tokyo.

While the hotel has a great location and the staff is friendly and helpful , there are a few things that I found different. There was a boarded up section on the sidewalk side, so we could not see that there was an easy access entry to the main entry way. We climbed the stairs instead with the luggage we had. There could be better signage on that first level to lead customers to the elevator that will take you to the hotel lobby. Took us until the 2nd day and after exploring a bit to figure it out. We also notice a sewer like smell when coming back to the room on two different occasions. Seemed like it was coming from the bathroom. I did find it strange that our room had three telephones. Also wished that the TV was a smart TV where we coukd access Netflix or other streaming services. Seemed like there were a lot of foreign visitors staying here, it would make sense to offer some other channels or streaming options.

The hotel was beautiful and centrally located in Tokyo. The hotel was immaculate. The staff was super helpful and polite. No request was too small. The amenities ie lotion, creams etc was a bit underwhelming and I was surprised to not receive even a simple welcome gift package. There is a water dispenser on each floor, ac works easily, beds were firm, views were wonderful and the breakfast buffet was great.
