Hotel Gracery Ginza

bad smell

Very average hotel in the very expensive Ginza area of Tokyo. The iPad check in fad has to stop. Rather than assigning computer tasks to guests on arrival, staff are there and should check guests in as part of basic hospitality and human decency.

Helpful staff and clean rooms.

Excellent location, right on Ginza strip, close to Metro station, shops and restaurants. The hotel is well maintained with renovated rooms. Staff is super polite and helpful, but that’s Japan customer service standard.

Check in and check out were easy. The staff were helpful in assisting us with booking our luggage delivery to the airport at the end of our trip. Laundry was easy to do as we could see the status of all of the laundry machines and were able to do our laundry without waiting. Easy walkable distance from JR Shimbashi station, Ginza station, and Higashi-Ginza station and right next to the historic Ginza Lion Beer Hall and Ginza Six. Would definitely stay here again.

Location was very convenient, price was very reasonable. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room size was pretty good, but the interior is quite dated and some things show their age. The surfaces were clean, but the less trafficked areas were not as clean as they should have been. Would likely not stay again due to all the other options nearby at comparable prices.

Helpful staff and clean hotel. Right next to Ginza Six. Need some walk to get to subway. Room is small probably just like many other hotels there. Need a little arrangement to open one large luggage. No space to open the 2nd. Loved that it has laundry.

I always stay here when I visit Tokyo.

Very good hotel but reception is on the 3rd floor and the lifts can be slow. Good amenities and smoking room located in a convenient area.

Location was great and breakfast spread was satisfying.

I love all the little face masks and toiletries samples they offer, laundry machines on the lobby floor I did not like that we could not eat in the lounge

The people who worked there were amazing. They were incredibly helpful and made my experience much easier by providing guidance whenever I needed it. Although the hotel room was small, the amenities more than made up for it. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

I got the 4th floor, the curtain is not even able to open, as there is big open floor out of my room. The bathroom looks old, and not well maintained. Floor doesn’t look clean either, I will never stay here again. The only advantage is the location, close to all the big shopping malls and brands.

Hotel is the size of a boutique hotel but staff, especially cleaning staff, were friendly and helpful. Bathroom is a little dated but were clean. The lobby is on 3rd floor so you have to take an elevator from the small 1st floor elevator entrance across the Lion Beer Hall building. There is only one restaurant (Sakura). Their breakfast buffet is Japanese breakfast buffet style. There is laundry facilities (requires payment, separate cashless payment for washer and dryer. You can leave your luggage in a secure self-service locker room area in same secure laundry machine area. The hotel lobby provides free drinks for guests and has a small waiting area. Also, don't forget to use the luggage scale in front of waiting area after you pack before you leave for airport to avoid overweight penalty checkin baggage fees.
