Imperial Hotel, Osaka

We stayed at this hotel for two nights during the Tenjin Matsuri. The location put us right in the action for the water procession and the fireworks. The area surrounding the hotel was very busy and there was a festival area just across the river with games and food stall. The service at the hotel is flawless. The rooms are dated but clean and comfortable. On Sunday, there were three locations for breakfast, whereas on Saturday there were two. Breakfast was good with a variety of Japanese and Western offerings. On one of the upper floors there is a Japanese breakfast offering. We chose the western buffet. I particularly liked the ice cream machine. I would predict that this area is also a good location during cherry blossoms and is within walking distance to the mint. The shuttle service to Osaka Station runs about every 20 minutes for both pick up and drop off. There are many exclusive Snoopy themed items in the gift shop.

Imperial Hotel Osaka is a 5 star + Hotel with the kindest staff, beautiful decor and furnishings, amazing views and top notch restaurants. We were treated so well from the second we stepped out of our Uber all the way to checking out of the hotel. We will return to Osaka in the future and stay here again.
