The room is old, dirty, and super small. There is no air fan in the bathroom so it’s smelly if someone using the toilet and super hot when you take a shower. There is no charging port by the bed so you have to charge at the table that’s all the way by the door. And the most disappointing point to me is their staff’s attitude and the way they solve problems. When I was there, the housecleaning maid broke my electric toothbrush and took away my towel. I reported this to the hotel but they don’t seem to believe me and keep asking if my electric toothbrush is broke already before entering the hotel. They claimed that the housekeeping maid never touched it and asked me to call the police instead. After two days of back and forth with them, they finally decided to have a manager to talk to me and offered me to choose from a free breakfast, delay the check out time, or ship a new toothbrush to my home address. Since I am leaving early for my flight the next morning, the only option for me is for them to ship a new one to me but I doubt it will ever arrive in my mailbox as I am still waiting till this day. Nevertheless, I will not visit this hotel again.

Used to love the hotel. Stayed here every visit to Tokyo at the end. Registration clerk spoke like a robot not caring whether we understood or not. Spoke to her in Japanese and English but she kept on talking. Perhaps I was talking to a robot. No one to help with the luggage. Perhaps management decision to turn it into a businessmen hotel? Let me know for our next Japan trip plan. Very disappointed in not finding omotenashi

This is our hotel when we visit Tokyo every year. Great location and great rooms. We will be staying here again every time we visit Tokyo. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Thank you for having a gym for your customers as I’m a person that loves working out the gym is really nice.

After initial difficulties to locate the reception area for the Annex Tower the stay went smoothly. The highlight clearly was the breakfast, definitely worth it! (I missed the experience on my last stay here.) Overall, good place to stay if you are coming from/going to any of the Tokyo airports - Shinagawa station is a major hub for Tokyo travels.

Only thing that I have to say is not to use seven-eleven on the first floor. The WORST customer service ever in Japan!

The biggest plus was that the hotel had the most comfortable beds and pillows - had the best sleeps. Staff at front desk were nice but not particularly helpful - maybe due to language barriers. The hotel did a good job overall though. Note: One of the most annoying things about the hotel was the lack of seating near the entrance (outside and directly by the doors) - one of us had mobility issues and when waiting for transport would have appreciated somewhere to sit/rest by the doorway. Instead we had to walk all the way into the hotel and sit in front of reception - it caused unnecessary discomfort when in pain.

We stayed for 5 nights after taking a 2 week cruise around Japan. After we disembarked we stayed at Shinagawa Prince to tour Tokyo for 6 days. The hotel lobby looked spacious and nice but at $200/night, the room was tiny and super dated. It looked old with torn carpet and old furniture. Location was great since Shinagawa station was right across the street, but there really isn’t much to do around the area since it’s more geared towards business people and not so much for tourists. Some positives are the room is clean and water pressure in the shower is nice and strong. Our room is on the 24th floor and we had a view of the Tokyo Tower. But it was such a small tiny dated room we were stepping over each other and only 1 suitcase can be opened at once so we had to take turns unpacking and repacking (there were 3 of us: 2 adults and a child). I probably would not stay here again the next time I’m in Tokyo due to the high cost, tiny dated room, and nothing much to do in the area. I’m sure there are other nicer bigger rooms in better locations.

The room was fine for three if you don’t have a ton of luggage. The hotel is a 2 minute walk to Shinagawa station which makes it super easy to go anywhere if you put a Suica card in your phone.

Prince Hotel is a huge, massive operation, and projects somewhat aged glory. Rooms are tiny with outdated decor. The sheer size made our stay less enjoyable, for example when the luggage drop-off had a line of probably one hundred people/families trying to drop off their luggage after checkout for a few hours which made this completely unuseable. The location is very convenient near Shinagawa Station. The breakfast is in a huge hall-reminded me of the Las Vegas Casinos. For what it offered, we felt it was overpriced at Yen 4300/person.

The property was clean and very well maintained. The room that we were assigned to was on the 9th floor where the laundry is located, which was very convenient. The rooms were huge and every room has large windows and a view. The bathroom was a good size one and there's even a closet. The beds are lifted so suitcases can fit under the bed for more room. Unfortunately, the refrigerator did not have a freezer. There's free coffee and tea with a bottled water each day if you wish. The staff are excellent and the amenities are incredible. GREAT hotel for children as well with cinema, a bowling alley, an Aqua Park with live dolphin shows, a gym, and a food court. There was NO ONSEN though. Most of the staff are able to help you in English. The Hapuna Restaurant had a fabulous buffet. A bit pricey I thought but nonetheless, it was fabulous. There are many, many, restaurants around the property to choose from. The JR stations are less than 5 mins away and very convenient! It rained a lot but the hotel gave us umbrellas which you can return when you are done with it. AWESOME PLACE TO STAY!!
