Conveniently located just 1 stop away from Kyoto station on the Karasuma Line and 15-20 mins walking distance to the center of the Kawaramachi shopping district. With a 24-hour supermarket just right beside the hotel, 7-11 opposite and nearby McDonald's and Yoshinoya. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, service was also efficient and quick. The concierge/reception staff was also very friendly and helpful. There's a bathing area at the basement with complimentary refreshments for hotel guests.

For me, it's a perfect hotel: 1. Near the station. 2. Spacious room. 3. Comfortable bed and pillows. 4. Has onsen inside the hotel for rejuvenating ourselves after a long walk everyday. It feels so good. 5. Very friendly hotel price if you compare it with all the facilities. 6. Very friendly and helpful hotel staff. 7. Convenient store and fruit store just next door.

I stayed in a standard room with two twin beds and it felt like a palace as a solo traveler. Staff was lovely and helpful, onsen was very nice, location was great - super convenient to walk from the Gojo stop of the train station. Toiletries were fantastic - everything you could need.

This hotel was great! It was such a nice change of pace from Tokyo. The onsen in the basement was so calm and peaceful! We absolutely loved it. We didn’t go to the restaurant at the hotel but there was an amazing French inspired restaurant near the canal only a few blocks away. We went there twice in three days. Highly recommend the hotel and the nearby restaurant.

This place is absolutely incredible! First of all it’s beautiful, calm, and relaxing. It’s in a great location and an easy walk to cute shops and restaurants and marketplaces. The bus system is very fast, convenient and the trains and the train stations are much easier to understand than Shinjuku! You can definitely use this as a nice base to go deeper into Kyoto, where all the Matcha shops are and over to the Fushimi Inari Temple. The floor beneath the lobby has a beautiful spa- like bath and the hot water was amazing after walking 25,000 steps a day! The rooms are much bigger than others we found in Tokyo and the beds are super comfy. We definitely recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at THE BLOSSOM KYOTO. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming throughout our stay. Our room was spotless, and the space was designed and utilized very well, making it feel both comfortable and functional. What really set this hotel apart from others was the complimentary snack corner on the lower level. It offered free snacks and drinks including popsicles, nuts, coffee, soft drinks, and a variety of Japanese snacks, which was such a thoughtful touch after a long day exploring Kyoto. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely be coming back on our next trip to Kyoto!

Room was really comfortable and had really good sleep for the 2 nights I was there. Hotel is near the subway and next to a 24 hour supermarket so very convenient. Did not have their breakfast though as it was pretty basic and there were 2 highly rated breakfast places nearby - very few options but very good options so all good. If the quality of all JR hotels is like this, I am staying in JR hotels from now on.

We recently stayed at The Blossom Kyoto and overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel was modern, clean, and offered great amenities that made our stay comfortable, especially for families traveling longer in Japan. One of the biggest highlights was the public bath, which was a nice way to relax after long days of walking around Kyoto. The washer and dryer facilities were also extremely convenient and something we really appreciated during our trip. We booked the Quad Room for 3 adults and 1 child and found it spacious enough by Kyoto/Japan standards. The room layout worked well for our family and provided enough comfort for our stay. The hotel itself had a calm and relaxing atmosphere, and the staff were polite and professional throughout our stay. Would we stay here again? Maybe, maybe not. While we enjoyed our stay and found the hotel comfortable and convenient, we would probably also explore other hotel options in Kyoto on future visits just to experience different areas and styles of accommodations. Overall, The Blossom Kyoto was a solid and enjoyable stay with great amenities for travelers and families visiting Kyoto.
