The CitizenM Schiphol Hotel is my favorite. I always choose this hotel for early morning flights. It's only a 5-minute walk to Schiphol Airport. The hotel is clean, soundproof, and the staff are friendly.

I love this hotel. Really nice hotel, clean & cozy. Just take a walk to reach the airport. You can find restaurants & shops nearby. Staff is friendly and helpful. Looking forward to stay on the next vacation.

The location to the airport is ideal...a 10-15 min walk to departure area. Very convenient if catching an early morning flight. Access to trains is also convenient. You can get to many other Dutch cities very easily...so a great location for extended stay as well.

Air conditioning was almost non existent. Room was too hot to sleep. Front desk or host could not help up with lack of air conditioning. When asked to see a different room to see if air conditioning was better, which it wasn't, host claimed they didn't have air conditioning and that was stated on the website. This was absolutely not true, as we checked it on multiple sites. When we questioned that, we were threatened to be thrown out of the hotel. Breakfast staff and quality of choices were excellent.

Great room aircon. Food was delicious. Staff helpful. Needs some small maintenance attention- my tv did not work and I was changed to a different room. On the new room toilet low water flush did not work (high water flush did). These are small things that deserve attention. The lounge areas were fantastic and so relaxing. The combo of the beds was outstanding.

The ac seemed to be running but not cooling the room. At 4 am it stopped completely. The hotel is designed to have continual flow of air in fact they clearly state this in their hotel guide. So a tiny room with clever space saving toilet/shower works well with constant air flow but is unbearable when the ac and air handling quits at 4 am. Rather than deal with a potential room move I packed up and left early.
Front desk was unapologetic when I checked out. Blaming me for not raising the issue with them. Any modern hotel has a central climate control system that would alert staff to these kinds of issues.

Check in isn’t easy when you have multiple rooms under one reservation.
Rooms are tight, bed was up against the wall so hard for the 2nd person to get out of bed without waking the first. It was a unique experience. It was quiet, couldn’t hear the planes which was great and very convenient.
