I was asked to pay taxes at the point of the check in. I wanted to pay full amount but I was told its not possible. Really upsetting, because I wanted to pay by cash and had my money ready but it was refused without giving me a reason. There is a restaurant on the top floor of the building which is absolutely awful. Horrible and overpriced food.

Excellent property and experience. We were there primarily to experience the town center area, and while the hotel isn't located in that area, it is a very easy walk to the metro, so access all over the city was easy. Staff was great, room was nice.

A great experience. Well located. Fantastic staff in all positions. The restaurant is beyond amazing again on all levels. Spacious well appointed rooms. Comfy beds. Powerful showers. Good TV. Power and USB sockets in the right places. Fast multiple elevators. Literally got everything right.

The hotel is a very interesting modern hotel. It is perfectly located with a public transportation near by. We took the U52 and within a 10 minutes we were in central Amsterdam. Museums with u2 are five minutes away. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the Sonoma bar with food and drinks are too. I recommend the hotel for any type of travel. We were there as tourists both over 65

Floor 24 the bar cocktail manager with glasses make is rude - hotel refused a lot of guest drinks last night bad form The staff handled this very poorly Some IT issue - BUT several staff remained drinking at restaurant bar despite the bar being closed - this is not the way to treat a hotel guest

Chose this hotel because I was looking for a quieter location away from the city centre. The easy access to Metro and trams made it very accessible for getting around. The hotel is very modern and nicely designed, the rooms were very comfortable, and the amenities were good. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Amsterdam.
